I absolutely love your magazine, especially the craft section. Last month, I was particularly interested in the windowpanestyle mirror. I’d just had a new front door fitted and was wondering what to do with the old one. Your article inspired me to use it as a feature in my garden, so I attached it to a previously ugly wall next to the mirror I made. It’s now the entrance to my secret garden. Makeover magic

While in lockdown, I decided to give a new lease of life to my very old kitchen. I sanded, primed and repainted the units, then replaced the old handles with new ones. I’m so pleased with the outcome! Valentina, by email

The perfect pallet

I thought you might like to see the window box and faux shutters my husband made from old pallets. The window was unused after our bungalow conversion but instead of bricking it up, we decided to make it a feature. I love the transformation and it makes me so happy to see the flowers blooming now!
