Mabella-based intelligent home specialists Illusion are recognised as industry leaders when it comes to automation, lighting and audiovisual systems. That is, however, just one aspect of the comprehensive array of services they offer clients, albeit a key one. Illusion have also established an excellent reputation for developing and installing fully integrated bespoke projects for homes, offices and other commercial outlets – which is, in fact, their “core” business. One of the most recent, and impressive, was a lighting, audio-video and control project undertaken at Pure Living Properties headquarters in Hotel Puerto Romano on Marbella’s Golden Mile. Illusion worked closely with both the Pure Living team and architecture and home décor studio Inhabit, and incorporated state-of-the-art products from their top showroom brands. Products from leading Belgian company Delta Light were used for the architectural and technical lighting. Specifically, the desks feature suspended profiles that bathe the space evenly and generate high-quality lighting, highlighted by a high colour rendering index, as well as a warm and comfortable lighting temperature. One other exceptionally flexible and adaptable solution incorporated into the project was a magnetic grid system that surrounds the perimeter and facilitates changes in the positioning of the light modules, while adjustable spotlights also enhance the lighting design. Elegant Lutron Palladiom keypads are used to operate the diverse scene options created for the project. These include “Let’s talk” and “Let’s work” modes, which have been specially adapted to daily situations arising in the offices, to ensure users’ needs are satisfied and their day-to-day working lives are fully facilitated. The cutting-edge ambient system is further exemplified with lighting that reaches an appropriate level when meetings with clients are initiated, focusing on indirect light to create a cosy ambience. This is complemented by discreet Sonance speakers that can be lowered to a volume that accommodates comfortable conversation, with the temperature also able to be adapted to a desired level to make sure clients feel completely at ease. Pure Living Properties and Illusion had worked together previously on other projects, forging a close and fruitful relationship. According to Pure Living CEO Javier Nieto, “We wanted to have state-of-the-art domotic home renovation as part of our new phase, because that is the present and future of living and work space. Likewise, we wanted our office to show clients, from the moment they come to us to help them buy their home, what they can expect in their new lifestyle.” The resoundingly successful result, he said, had made Pure Living a reference point in terms of home automation, modernisation, elegance and functionality in the Marbella real estate market, as well as adding a positive element to Puente Romano’s already stunningly attractive business environment.
