NEW YORK CITY 2169 It is the year 2169, and due to the melting of the glaciers the island of Manhattan, as many costal areas around the world, is completely underwater. Water transit is taking over and the city has to quickly adapt to these changes in order to keep functioning.

CAP Tops off the connection, preventing it from sliding out.
FRAME Structural member connecting to pivot.
WASHER Creates a break in between each component and minimizes friction.
KNUCKLE are wider than the axel, allowing side to side, in and out movement.
AXEL Pin that runs through the knuckles.
BOTTOM CAP Prevents it from sliding out.
PIVOTING CONNECTION This tectonic connection focuses on the rotation of multiple elements of a structure. Pivoting around a main support allows these elements to rotate simultaneously and in different directions, creating a dynamic effect that becomes highly efficient and problem - solving.

AIR PREASURE
The design of the Jellyfish acts as an air bubble underwater, which is just like flipping a glass of water upside down and pushing it against a surface full of water.

Swell is a project proposal that utilizes rain water collected from the top of Park Towne Place West building in order to slow down the drainage process and therefor give the sewer system more time. To accomplish that, we have designed a wind & water turbine facade system that has dual functionality. This system will generate energy through motion caused by wind, or by filling up with the rain water that is collected from the roof of the building.

BLUE BELL PARK PAVILION The design of this pavilion, located in Blue Bell Park, is meant to enhance the natural aspects of its environment, rather than taking the focus away from it. To achieve this the pavilion is integrated via a green roof, which becomes part of the park’s landscape and provides for additional walking space as well as a higher view of the park.

INSIGHT AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN LOGAN SQUARE, PHILADELPHIA Starting artists depend heavily on view; both for their own inspiration and for getting their work viewed by potential buyers. This building works on the relationship between the outside viewers and the views offered to the residents themselves.
