Kent County Family Courts Location: Kent County, DE, United States of America Project Start / Completion Date: 2020 - Present By: Tevebaugh Architecture Discipline: Design / Bid / Build The Kent County Family Courts is one of two family courts projects being led by Tevebaugh Architecture in the state of Delaware, commonly refered to as the “Courts Projects”. Given the scale of the Courts projects, Tevebaugh has been the lead firm and managed the coordination between State, client, and consultants throught the whole process, creating many oportunities for the team to contribute in all areas of the project. The Kent County Family Courts; consisting of a Courts building and a Parking Garage, is a great example of a contemparary take on the vernacular architecture of the area.
Kent Family Courts Life Safety
Kent Family Courts - Code Review & Life Safety With the Kent County being 111,821sf code review and life safety were a key process to ensure that the project will not only meet the code requirements, but that it will stay within budget and maximize usable space.

Kent Family Courts Clock Tower - Details Kent Family Courts - A landmark for the county The Kent County Courthouse has a Clock Tower that contains the two public elevators, and a lantern to cap it off ; serving both as a means of vertical circulation and a visual landmark.
9
Kent Family Courts Connecting Bridge
Courthouse to Parking Garage - Connecting Bridge The Kent County Family Courts grant the judges access to the Parking Garage from inside the courthouse through a connecting bridge. Due to its unique placement, the bridge’s structure remains totally independent from both the courthouse and the parking garage, requiring an expansion joint at every point of juncture between the bridge and the buildings.

Delaware Custom House Scale of Project: 65,180 SF Location: Wilmington, DE, United States of America Project Start - Completion Date: 2023 - Present By: Tevebaugh Architecture Discipline: Design / Bid / Build The Delaware Custom House project consists of the historic Custom House building and the acquisition of Alico Road. The design team has worked on the design and development of the new three story addition parallel to the re-conditioning of the historic building to accentuate the historical context of the site and contrast with modern architecture. The scaling of some of the design elements, along with the detailing that can be found in every corner of the historic Custom House left the design team no choice but to use the addition as a frame of such imposing features, creating mements within the building where the old and the new come together.

Customs House Expansion Joint The new addition needs to respect the historical features of the existing Customs House. In order to achieve this, an expansion joint wraps around the entire edge of the new construction; allowing for expansion and contraction, as well as any settling from the new structure.

Square One Location: Savannah, GA, United States of America Project Date: 2019 By: Elias Valdes Ruiz Discipline: School Project / Design Located in Savannah Georgia the library SQ1 is placed within the centre of Forsyth Park. The library provides interactive learning opportunities on 3 different subjects that are bound to help the community around Savannah survive flooding that will occur in the near future. The 3 main cores are based around Biodiversity, Geology and Infrastructure. Based on research these are the 3 factors that the community needs to focus on in order to prepare for the worst. In order to express the importance of this issue the library is placed directly over the pedestrian path to force people to encounter the building and understand that they will need to take action as soon as possible. The form completely stands out from its surroundings in order to signify that a big change is coming.
