Foreword By Dr Alan Pateman
T
his excellent book provides a strong basis from which to pray. It also provides many scriptures to ensure that you are praying in accordance with the very will and Word of God. However this is much more than just a collection of scriptures with which to pray, it is both insightful and practical, something that you can follow and apply to your life. You will discover the art of true praying, including gaining understanding about the many different types of prayer there are in scripture along with helpful confessions that Pastor Elijah Miti has laid out for you. In short, the pages of this book come “fully-loaded” with effective aids to help the believer accurately pray and not pray “amiss.” It offers an important tool to ensure each reader is well-informed and well-equipped to meet his/her responsibility to pray; a responsibility that rests upon the entire Body of Christ today. Personally I enjoyed reading this book from cover to cover and I specifically like the way that Pastor Elijah has put this book together. I recommend this book as a classic for every believer’s library but more than that I would go as far as to suggest that you ought to buy a second copy for a loved one or friend! Help others to benefit from such an

awesome “prayer-aid” and help catapult their prayer lives to another level! I am confident that after adding this book to your private “prayer-arsenal” and by using it daily – you will see your own prayer life elevated from the realm of “stagnant and unanswered prayer” to the realm of “DYNAMIC, POWER RELEASING & ANSWERED PRAYER!” (James 5:16 AMP)
Boldly use it - to boldly PRAY Overcome, Conquer & Reign in this life - in Jesus mighty name!

Prayer
P
rayer is the Kitchen, the cooking place for your Christian life. Prayer is the expression of your heart through the mouth and the meditation of your heart unto God. God wants to hear the cries of your heart. Prayer is building relationship and communion with the trinity (The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost). Prayer is a place of fellowship with God. Prayer is the heart of God in children to the father. Form a habit to spend at least ONE hour in Prayer before you go for work. God is always waiting for you to have communion every day. Don’t run to man when you have a problem, run to God in Prayer. Prayer gives you solutions and it makes you come to the father and say “anyone who comes to you and asks for bread you will not give him a stone.” We are the light of the world and we draw light from God through Prayer. The Moon draws light from the Sun we ought to be dependent on God every day in prayer to connect with the father. When you are intimate with God revelations, visions, dreams and destiny is given through prayer. Learn how to wait and listen from God, you may go round but you can go wrong. When you are in God’s
11
presence through prayer you don’t come out empty. Your association determines your assimilation. Prayer is the act of interceding for those who are lost. I pray that the anointing of Prayer shall fall on you as you read this book. Know how to overcome in your secret place of your home on your knees in Prayer. Prayer is the weapon of believers to set the captives free and claim your relatives and friends for Jesus. If you want to banish poverty you’ve got to Pray. If you want to banish lack you got to Pray. If you want to banish sickness you got to Pray. If you want to banish bad habits you got to Pray. If you combine information and prayer no devil can stop you. One time Elijah sealed the heaven and no rain came down. Romans 8:14-16
“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. “
12
When you know how to connect with God in prayer your business will succeed. Prayer is the excise of the authority God has given us that brings the presence of God here on earth. Whatever is happening in your life you permitted, but you have the authority to bind and loose. Matthew 18:18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.
Prayer is a key that gives you access to the Glory of God. The place of his glory is a place that you should desire and crave each and every day Prayer for consecration is when you want to know the will of God. You have the KEYS.
13
4:6--7 Philippians 4:6 “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. 7And God's peace [shall be yours, that [b]tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall [c]garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

A Prayer for Protection from Psalm 91
F
ather, I praise You that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and that I shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of You, Lord, "the Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I confidently trust!" For then You will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Then You will cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings shall I trust and find refuge. Your truth and Your faithfulness are a shield and a buckler to me. I shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come nigh my dwelling. For You will give Your angels especial charge over me, to accompany, defend and preserve me in all my ways of obedience and service to You. Your angels shall bear me up on their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall I trample underfoot. Because I have set my love upon You, therefore will You deliver me. You will set me on high, because I know and understand Your name. I have a personal knowledge of Your mercy, love and kindness. I trust and rely on You, knowing You
17
will never forsake me, no, never. I shall call upon You, and You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble. You will deliver me and honour me. With long life will You satisfy me and show me Your salvation. (Psalm 91 - taken from the Amplified Bible)
Isaiah 41;1041;10-13 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11Behold,
all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12Thou
shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. 13For
I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

A Prayer for Protection
T
hroughout the Bible we are constantly reminded to “fear not.” It is not God’s will that we live in anxiety or fear, ever. Remember, He is well able to protect you, your family and all who take a stand on His Word. The following is a prayer based totally on Scripture. Put yourself and God in remembrance of His Word and know that the only “safe” place there will ever be is under His protection. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You that You watch over Your Word to perform it. Father, I praise You that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and that I shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty—whose power no foe can withstand. I will say of You, Lord, “The Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I confidently trust!” For then You will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Then You will cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings shall I trust and find refuge. Your truth and Your faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. Father, You are my confidence, firm and strong. You keep my foot from stumbling, being caught in a trap, or hidden danger.
19
Father, You give me safety and ease me. I know You will keep me in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on You and I trust in You. I thank You, Lord, that I may lie down and You will give me peaceful sleep, for You sustain me and make me dwell in safety. I shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come near me. Only a spectator shall I be—inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High—as I witness the reward of the wicked. Because I have made You, Lord, my refuge, and the Most High my dwelling place, there shall no evil befall me, nor any plague come near my tent. For You will give Your angels especial charge over me, to accompany and defend and preserve me in all my ways of obedience and service. They are encamped around about me. Your angels shall bear me up on their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent shall I trample underfoot. Because I have set my love upon You, therefore will You deliver me. You will set me on high, because I know and understand Your Name.
20
I have a personal knowledge of Your mercy, love and kindness. I trust and rely on You, knowing You will never forsake me, no, never. I shall call upon You, and You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble. You will deliver me and honour me. With long life will You satisfy me and show me Your salvation! Continue to feast and meditate on this prayer for yourself and for your loved ones. Speaking it daily will allow the Word of God concerning protection to reach deep into your spirit. Prayer For A Teenager
F
ather, in the Name of Jesus, I affirm Your Word over my teenager. I commit him/her to you and delight myself also in You. I thank You that You deliver out of rebellion into right relationship with his/her parents. Father, the first commandment with a promise is to the child who obeys his parents in the Lord. You said that all will be well with him and he will live long on the earth. I affirm this promise on behalf of my child asking You to give him an obedient spirit that he may honour (esteem and value as precious) those in right authority over him. Father, forgive me for mistakes I made out of my own unresolved hurts or selfishness which may have caused him hurt. I release the anointing that is upon Jesus to bind up and heal our broken hearts. Give us the ability to understand and forgive one another as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. Thank You for the Holy Spirit Who leads us into all truth and corrects erroneous perceptions about past or present situations. Thank You for teaching us to listen to each other and giving him an ear that hears admonition for then he will be called wise. I affirm that I will speak excellent and
23
princely things and the opening of my lips shall be for right things. Father, I commit to train and teach him in the way that he is to go and when he is old he will not depart from sound doctrine and teaching, but will follow it all the days of his life. In the Name of Jesus, I command rebellion to be far from the heart of my teenager and confess that he is willing and obedient, free to enjoy the reward of Your promises. He shall be peaceful bringing peace to others. Father, according to Your Word we have been given the ministry of reconciliation and I release this ministry and the word of reconciliation into this family situation. I refuse to provoke or irritate or fret my child. I will not be hard on him lest he becomes discouraged, feeling inferior and frustrated. I will not break his spirit in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, I forgive my teenager for the wrongs which he has done and stand in the gap until he comes to his senses and escapes out of the snare of the enemy (rebellion). Thank You for watching over Your Word to perform it, turning and reconciling the heart of the rebellious child to the parents and the hearts of the parents to the child. Thank You for bringing my teenager back into a healthy relationship with You and with me that our lives might glorify You! In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Prayer for Prosperity
F
ather, in the Name of your Son Jesus, I confess your Word over my finances this day. As I do this, I say it with my mouth and believe it in my heart and know that your word will not return to you void, but will accomplish what it says it will do. Therefore I believe, in the Name of Jesus, that every need is met according to Philippians 4:19. I believe that because I have given tithes and offerings to further your cause, Father, gifts will be given to me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will they pour into my bosom. For with the measure I deal out, it will be measured back to me. Father, you have delivered me out of the authority of darkness into the Kingdom of your dear Son. Father, I have taken my place as your child. I thank you that you have assumed your place as my Father and have made your home with me. You are taking care of me and even now you are enabling me to walk in love and in wisdom, and to walk in the fullness of fellowship with your Son Jesus. Satan, I bind you from my finances, according to Matthew 18:18, and loose you from your assignment against me, in the Name of Jesus. Father, I thank you that your ministering spirits (angels) are free to minister for me and bring in the necessary finances. Father, I confess you are a very present help in trouble, and you are more than enough. I confess, God, that you are able to make all grace - every favour and

earthly blessing - come to me in abundance, so that I am always, and in all circumstances, furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. In Jesus name , AMEN.

Prayer For Finances
et’s pray over everybody’s finances…all of us…everybody…and believe and release the blessing. Because when the blessing’s concerned, it doesn’t matter if there’s famine in the land, if there are problems. It works best when there is famine in the land. That’s what it’s for. Let’s all agree with one another for the blessing, not just a blessing, but the biggest financial year we’ve ever had. Amen. Now, let me tell you what you do. We get in the supernatural. It’s one thing to pray but then you put your eyes on Jesus. He is your source. You put your eyes on the promises of God to Abraham and you look at them and you look at them and you breathe them and you talk them, eat them, and sleep them. We got to looking at Isaac and what happened when he sowed during a time of a famine. But you have to keep your eyes on it. And you come out of there and then somebody comes on the television and says we’re all going to go down. I ain’t going down…I’m going that way. I’m not spending my time going down. Amen. Now, Father, in the name of Jesus, we set ourselves before your throne. Heaven and earth bear record, we are in agreement that the recession, the depression, inflation and every other economic downfall doesn’t belong to us. We’re the children of God, not the children of the world. We’re the children of light, not the children of darkness. We walk in the light as you’re in the light
29
Lord. You are our source. We lay hold today of every promise, every word You said, every oath You declared to Abraham. You will perform that oath and that promise to me and to my household. We declare it. We claim it. We receive it. It’s done. It’s done. Hallelujah. We are the blessed. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Today stop singing songs that repay your past such as “ My Sins Were High Than The Mountain Then The Lord.......” Start Singing songs that plays your Future “ My Redeemer Lives, My Redeemer Lives, Nothing Is Impossible doo doo doo doo !!!!!!

Prayer For Wives To To Confess
F
ather, in the Name of Jesus, I take Your Word and speak it out of my mouth and say that I have faith that I am a capable, intelligent, patient, and virtuous woman. I am far more precious than jewels. My value to my husband and family is far above rubies and pearls. The heart of my husband trusts in me confidently and relies on and believes in me completely, so that he has no lack of honest gain or need of dishonest spoil. Father, I will comfort, encourage, and do him only good as long as there is life within me. I gird myself with strength -- spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for my God-given task. I taste and see that my gain from work with and for God is good. My lamp goes not out. It burns on continually through the night of any trouble, privation, or sorrow, and it warns away fear, doubt, and distrust. I open my hand to the poor. I reach out my filled hands to the needy - whether in spirit, soul, or body. My husband is known as a success in everything he puts his hand to. Strength and dignity are my clothing, and my position in my household is strong. I am secure and at peace in knowing that my family is in readiness for the future.
31
I open my mouth with skilful and Godly wisdom, and in my tongue is the law of kindness and love. I look well to how things go in my household. The bread of idleness, gossip, discontent, and self-pity I will not eat. My children rise up and call me blessed and happy. My husband boasts of and praises me, saying that I excel in all that I set my hand to. I am a woman who reverently and worshipfully loves You, Lord, and You shall give me the fruits of my hands. My works will praise me wherever I go, for Father, I confess that I am a submitted wife - simply because I want to be and I recognize Your authority. I thank You for my husband who is head over me, but who has given me (through the chain of command) the necessary power to do what Your Word says for me to do from Proverbs 31:10-31. I am as this woman is - a loving, successful, submitted wife - in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer for Healing
T
his is what Jesus said about prayer, "Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, 'Be thou removed, be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he saith.' Therefore, I say unto you," this is Jesus speaking "Therefore, I say unto you, what things so ever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them." That's in your Bible, Mark 11:22, 23 and 24. Jesus said to believe that you receive when you pray, and you will have it. Now I am going to pray for you. Now faith takes the answer when it prays. As I pray, you take your answer, and you begin to do what you couldn't do before. If you couldn't lift your arm up, throw it up there! If you couldn't get up, get up! Act on the Word of God. Why? Because you've received your healing. Father, I pray for every person. I pray the healing anointing to come upon them right now in the name of Jesus. In Jesus' name, you be healed from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. You just right now say, "I take my healing. I take it, Lord. I take it." And, then do something you couldn't do before. If you couldn't throw up your hand, throw it up there. If you couldn't move a leg, begin to move in Jesus' name. What are you doing? You are taking your healing. You take it. Faith takes! Glory to God! And, this is one of the key places when
35
Jesus teaches us about how to receive anything from the Lord. If you need help in your finances. Take prosperity. Believe you receive it, and act on it. If you need a job, take a job right now as we pray. Glory to God. We're here for you. We've have all kinds of information, teachings on the website, articles, prayers, devotionals, things to help you grow in the Lord. I’m intensely interested in you. And, we know that Jesus is intensely interested in you and wants you healed and prosperous and well. This is Elijah Miti reminding you that Jesus is Lord! Ephesians 6:10-18 (NKJ) – In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. 11 Put on God’s whole armour [the armour of a heavyarmed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Skip to Verse 17: And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. 18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).

How to Pray for an Unsaved Loved One
P
eople often get discouraged when praying for the salvation of loved ones and begin to wonder if their prayers ever really help. Well, guess what? Yes! Your prayers can be a powerful force in the lives of your unsaved relatives and friends if you know how to pray for them according to the wisdom and Word of God. The problem is that most Christians don’t know how to pray with skill. They just throw prayers in every direction and hope something comes of it. That’s especially true when it comes to praying for the lost. It’s not uncommon to see believers praying for friends or loved ones to get saved for 20, 30 or even 40 years without results. What exactly are these people praying? It usually boils down to something like this: “Oh, God, please save my brother. He needs to be saved.” (Don’t you think God knows he needs saving?) Then they might go a step further and start rehearsing their brother’s sins: “Lord, he got drunk again last night and we had to bail him out of jail again. If You don’t save him, he’s going to drive us all crazy!” That may sound funny—the example is a little extreme to make a point—but many of us have prayed prayers that sounded something like that.
37
What we haven’t understood is this: There’s nothing wrong with your unsaved loved one (or any other unsaved person) except the devil. No human being who truly understood the salvation Jesus has offered to us would reject that salvation of his own free will. No one! Why, then, are so many people sill unsaved? Second Corinthians 4:4 tells us it is because “the god of this world [the devil] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Once you realize it’s the devil (not your loved one) who’s the real problem, your first prayer step becomes clear. You must get the devil out of your loved one’s way. As Jesus said, “How can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?” (Matthew 12:29). You can’t! So bind him. Say, “You spirit operating in the life of my loved one, blinding ________ to the gospel to keep ________ out of the kingdom of God, I bind you now. I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. I carry His authority and righteousness, and in His Name I command you to desist in your manoeuvres. I spoil your house according to the Word of God and I enter into it to deliver my loved one from your hands.” Now, you may not be able to cast that devil entirely out of the situation, because your loved one may invite him back in faster than you can cast him out. But you can bind that spirit and keep it bound. It may keep you busy for a while, but you can do it.
38
You’ll find your next prayer step in Matthew 9:37-38. There, Jesus was looking out at the multitudes who needed ministry and He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” It’s the Word of God that brings faith for salvation: “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). So you need to see to it that the Word gets into your loved one’s heart. “How?” you say, “My loved one won’t listen to me!” Probably not, but God knows who your loved one will listen to, and He’ll send that person halfway around the world to talk to your loved one if necessary. So pray to the Lord of the harvest: “Father, I’m asking You to send labourers across ________’s path, labourers who are equipped with the Word of God about salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing and deliverance. Send labourers who can communicate effectively with ________ so Your Word can reach his/her heart.” Once you’ve prayed for your loved one like that, from then on, put your faith in action by treating your loved one like he’s/she’s saved. Don’t treat your loved one like he’s/she’s not good. On the contrary, every time you see your loved one, say, “Praise God! Isn’t it good to know Jesus?” Then just stand back and watch how things change. You’ll be amazed.
39
It’s happened many times. And it can happen that way for you and your loved one. So don’t give up. Get smart! Start praying according to the Word and praying by faith…and you will see the salvation of the Lord! Here is a sample prayer for your unsaved loved ones. As you speak God’s Word, remember that it will not return to Him void. It will prosper in the thing where to it is sent (Isaiah 55:11): “Father, I come before You in prayer and in faith, believing. Your Word says You desire all men to be saved and come into the knowledge of the truth, so I bring ________ before You this day. “I break the power of Satan from his assignments and activities in ________’s life in the Name of Jesus. Now, while Satan is bound, I ask that You send forth the perfect labourers to share the good news of the gospel in such a way that ________ will listen and understand it. As the truth is ministered, I believe ________ will open his/her eyes to the gospel, come out of the snare of the devil and make Jesus Lord. “Father, I ask that You fill ________ with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. As I intercede in his/her behalf, I believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is activated, and from this moment on, I shall praise and thank You for ________’s salvation. I am confident that You are alert and active, watching over Your Word to perform it. It will not return to You
40
void. It will accomplish that which You please and prosper in the thing whereto it was sent. “Therefore, my confession of faith is: ‘God has begun a good work in ________’s life and He will perform it and bring it to full completion until the day of Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ Name.’”
Scripture References: 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.” Matthew 18:18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be [a]what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be [b]what is already permitted in heaven.” Matthew 9:37-38 Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the labourers are few.”So pray to the Lord of the harvest to [a]force out and thrust labourers into His harvest. “
41
2 Timothy 2:26 “And that they may come to their senses [and] escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him, [henceforth] to do His [God's] will.” Jeremiah 1:12 “Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Philippians 1:6 “And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.”

prohibit satanic manifestations and I speak that divine "abortive" measures and "miscarriages" occur in satanic wombs and incubators. Everything that Satan is trying to birth, I command a miscarriage. Now Father, you have given me a great work to accomplish. I war for the releasing of finances and all resources that belong to me. Everything prepared for me before the foundation of the world, that pertains to my life, my ministry, my calling and godliness, comes to me now. I shall not/will not be denied. I shall not/will not accept substitutes. I call in the resources necessary for me to fulfil God’s original plan for my life and I command that it come to me without delay, in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare that the wealth of the wicked is no longer laying up for me, but it is released now. Let those who hold on to my wealth longer than they should be shaken until they release it right now into my hands. I command you Satan, to "cough it up," spit it out, loose it, release it, and let it go, now! In Jesus’ name!

A Prayer for Employment
O
ur Heavenly Father is very interested in you and desires the very best for you. It is His will that you prosper and be in health as your soul prospers (III John 1). Be aware that God is not limited to meet your need or bless you through a pay cheque, although He can certainly use a pay cheque to do so. Always remember that God is your source and you are His very own child. Keep the Word first place in your life. Do what God told Joshua in Joshua 1:8: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good succes.” We join our faith with yours as you pray this prayer: “Father, in Jesus’ Name, I seek Your wisdom and trust You to direct me in seeking the job that is best for me. I will walk in mercy and truth and lean not unto my own understanding. Thank You for opening wide a door which no man can shut and for giving me favour. “It is my desire, Father, to be debt-free and owe no man anything except to love him, according to Your Word. I am willing to work with my own hands, so that I lack nothing. I praise You that it is Your will that I am selfsufficient financially and have an abundance to meet all
47
of my needs, with enough left over to give generously to others. “I will not fret or have anxiety about anything, Father, for Your peace mounts guard over my heart and mind. Because You are my source, I have confidence, comfort and encouragement in Your provision. I thank You, Father, for supplying my need of employment according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Scripture References: Proverbs 3:3-5 “Let not mercy and kindness [shutting out all hatred and selfishness] and truth [shutting out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood] forsake you; bind them about your neck, write them upon the tablet of your heart. 4 So shall you find favour, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight [or judgment] of God and man. 5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.” Revelation 3:8 “I know your [record of] works and what you are doing. See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name.”

I Thessalonians 4:11-12 “To make it your ambition and definitely endeavour to live quietly and peacefully, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we charged you, 12So that you may bear yourselves becomingly and be correct and honourable and command the respect of the outside world, being dependent on nobody [self-supporting] and having need of nothing.”
II Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace (every favour and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need [b]be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].”

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. 7And God's peace [shall be yours, that [b]tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through

Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall [c]garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
II Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement),

Prayer For Selling Real Estate
F
ather, I thank You for the skilful and godly wisdom needed in offering my house (or other real estate) to be sold. I am preparing my house (property) in excellence that it may be beautiful and desirable as though I am preparing it for Your habitation. I am asking a fair and competitive market price, and will not take advantage of a potential buyer. Father, I ask that You prepare and send a ready, willing, and able buyer to purchase my house (property). A person who has the funds available to pay the fair market value, pre-qualified and approved by a lending institution. One who has perfect timing of possession that fits into my need and his/hers. Thank You for going before me and preparing the way. In the name of Jesus, I seek and pursue peace, thanking You that the spirit of truth shall prevail in our deliberations. I declare and decree that everyone involved speaks truly, deals truly, and lives truly. Should there be anything that is hidden, I ask that it be revealed and brought to the light. Truth and mercy are written upon the tablets of my heart, and I have favour,

good understanding, and high esteem in Your sight and in the sight of the potential buyer. In the name of Jesus, amen.

A Prayer for Our Government
I
n 1 Timothy 2:1-3 says that we are to pray, intercede and give thanks for kings and all people in authority. This is God’s command to every believer today. Praying for godly leaders is productive toward God’s plan and purpose for our nation. The Bible says the heart of a king is in the hand of the Lord. He can turn it however He wants, so your prayers are important. Here is a confession for you to use in prayer for our nation and its leaders. Pray it in faith, believing, and remember God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12, The Amplified Bible). Father, I bring the needs of our government before You and ask You to bless our nation through godly leaders. I magnify the Name of Jesus and declare that He is Lord over this nation. Father, I pray according to I Timothy 2:1-3 which says, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.” I pray, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, for our president, the vice president, all the Cabinet and the chief justice and associate justices of the Supreme Court to receive
53
the wisdom of God, to act in obedience to that wisdom and for the power of God to flow in their lives. I pray for the members of the Senate, Cabinet and the House of Representatives to find Your peace and direction, and for these men and women to act and lead according to Your Word. A house divided against itself cannot stand, therefore, I pray for them to be unified in righteousness for the sake of the nation. I pray for Your protection to cover all our law enforcement officers and the men and women of the military. I ask for godly counsel and wisdom for judges across this land. In the Name of Jesus, I pray that You and your kingdom of righteousness be manifested in the hearts of all those who are in authority in any way. Father, Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem because those that love Jerusalem shall prosper. Lord Jesus, because You love Jerusalem and wept over it, I love it also. I pray for Jerusalem to receive the Shalom of God, which brings wholeness— nothing, missing, nothing broken. I pray that no leader of our nation will make any decision that will harm Jerusalem in any way. And in the Name of Jesus, I pray that You reveal Your perfect will to all the leaders of Israel. I ask You, Lord, to reveal Yourself to each person. Thank You, Father, for hearing my prayers that are in accordance to Your will. I receive the answers, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Prayer of Forgiveness
M
ark 11:25,26 (Amplified) – And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings. Jesus prayed the Prayer of Forgiveness. Do you remember what some of His last words were when He was on the cross? “Father, forgive them.” He was saying, “I forgive them and, Father, I ask you to forgive them and not to put this on their charge.” He was crying out that they would be released; that God would forgive them. There is a side to the Prayer of Forgiveness that is a form of intercession; a side where we stand in the gap, that God would not remember the sin of the person who has sinned against us. That’s how much love there is in this prayer. It doesn’t have anything to do with our feelings, good or bad. Remember, it’s a choice we make. We choose to pray the Prayer of Forgiveness, and when we believe when
57
we pray, it works. God hears and answers this kind of prayer. He loves it!
5 Steps To The The Prayer of Forgiveness 1. You must forgive the person who has wronged you 2. Ask God to forgive them 3. Ask God to forgive you 4. Release the emotion of the situation and the relationship to the Lord. Pray about the hurt and rejection and release it in the presence of the Lord. Choose to let the rejection, feelings, and hurt go when you pray. 5. Forget it! Right there in your prayer, just forget it. Again, this is something you have to choose to do. Many people want to remember it, think about it, talk about it, and remember it some more. No! Forget it! If you’ll do that in your prayer, the Holy Spirit will help you. This doesn’t mean the relationship is automatically going to change; you have to understand that. There may still be things that have to be dealt with, but what you’re dealing with in this prayer is your heart and keeping it clean and pure. When the Holy Spirit leads you to pray this way, do it! There’s power in this kind of prayer. Unforgiveness is a sin. Just ask God to forgive you.
58
Pray, “Father, first of all, I thank you that you showed me that this attitude was in my heart. I thank You, Father that you love me and you showed me this. Father, I ask You to forgive So-and-so for what he did and said and for how he acted, and for all the others who have been involved in this situation. I ask in faith, out of the love of my heart, and with all the sincerity of my heart. I ask You, Father, to forgive them and, Father, I forgive them. I forgive all those words they said that hurt me. I forgive them, I ask you to forgive them, and together we let that go from their case. And Father, I ask you to forgive me. I came into this and I thought negatively about it. I have been angry about it, and I have spoken angry words. I’ve harboured bitterness in my heart toward this, and I don’t want it to go any farther. I don’t want a root of bitterness to be in me. Father, I ask you to forgive me. I know that I’ve said things in a wrong spirit and a wrong attitude about this person and about these people and, Father, I ask you to forgive me. I call it sin. I have sinned against you and against them. I confess it, and I thank You that when I confess my sin, you are faithful and just to forgive me and to restore me. I thank You, Father, for the purity and the cleansing of the Holy Spirit over my heart and mind and this relationship.” Choose to let the rejection, feelings, and hurt go when you pray.
59
Pray, “Father, I also ask you and I thank you that you have healed me right now of those words and the hurt. I don’t want to come to you with self-pity, pride, or hardness toward you or anyone. Father, I ask you to touch my heart. As an act of my will, I choose not to be hurt. I release the hurt, the rejection, and the emotion in this relationship. Father, I bless those who curse me. Thank you, Father, for your power in my heart and mind that takes away hurt, rejection, and bad feelings. I receive your power now. I have it now, and I thank you for it in Jesus’ Name. The feelings, the hurt, the emotion is touched right now by the Holy Spirit. I thank you for it. I receive it in Jesus’ Name. I refuse to accept hurt, anger, isolation, frustration, or rejection. Thank you, Father, for the freedom and the flow of the Holy Spirit touching my heart and mind right now. I take it by faith, and I’m healed in my heart, my mind, and my soul. I look to you, Holy Spirit, as my Comforter.” Forgiving does involve forgetting. Pray in the Spirit if you want to, and then say, “Father, now that I’ve prayed about this, I leave it here in your presence. I choose not to remember it. Holy Spirit, help me not to remember this. I leave it in your presence. It is finished. It is done. I forget it because of the blood; because of love, in Jesus’ Name.
60
Holy Spirit, help me to walk this out. Help me, Father, because I still have to deal with these people; but now I can deal in purity and love, and I don’t have to deal out of hurt, bitterness, unforgiveness, or hardness. I can walk in your wisdom, purity, and love and walk through this relationship victoriously, with your power. I thank you, Father, for your help in this relationship. In Jesus’ Name, I will keep my heart right. Thank you, Father, that now I can walk in forgiveness. Let forgiveness flow from my life. I thank you for it. Satan, I rebuke you and your hold on my life. You can’t bind me in this situation, in Jesus’ Name. I break the power of all rejection and every evil force released against me, in Jesus’ Name. Thank you, Father, for victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

A Prayer for Revival
W
aves of revival have swept around the world in the 20th century. Today, the five largest churches in the world are Spirit-filled and growing daily. Pentecostals are increasing in great numbers as worldwide revival brings the life of God to the Church and to all mankind.
The Hebrew word for revive is chayah which means to live, have life, remain alive, sustain life, nourish and preserve life, live prosperously, live forever, be quickened, be alive, be restored to life and health. According to that definition, revival is not just a onetime shot of life; revival is a continual nourishment, preservation, quickening and restoration to life. Revival begins when people turn to God. It breaks forth from intercessory prayer and continues when people repent and no longer tolerate sin in their lives. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the disciples returned to the upper room and continued in daily prayer, in one accord, and in one place. Then, at the appointed time, the Holy Spirit burst onto the scene with the sound of a mighty rushing wind. Peter and the others received God’s long-awaited promise of the Holy Spirit’s anointing. Acts 2:17-19 repeats the prophecy of Joel, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of my spirit on all flesh.… And on my menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out
63
my spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.… I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath…” (New King James Version). As they moved out into the streets from the upper room, men from every part of the world saw and heard something different. Peter’s great sermon, preached under the anointing of God, brought understanding, conviction of sin and the life of God to those who heard and responded in faith. Prayer, the anointed preaching of the Word, and a supernatural move of God—all working together—brought revival, God’s life-giving power. Oh, what a time we live in! Destruction and despair may be on one hand, but revival and miracles are on the other. Revival is spontaneous and ongoing. It happens when the Spirit of God moves among people. God never intended for the Pentecostal revival to stop. That is why it is so important to be ready and available as God moves and pours out His Spirit. He can minister life at any moment, to one or to a multitude, to a person in a barren wilderness or to many people in a crowded city. Revival happens wherever the Word of God prevails. Miracles, signs and wonders happen wherever the Word of God prevails. Hearts and lives are changed wherever the Word of God prevails. The Bible says God works with and confirms His Word with signs following (Mark 16:20). Look in the Word of God and you will find the life that revival brings. If people pray and dig into the Word of God which is life to them, revival will come and remain. Revival will become an ongoing way of life.
64
As you set yourself in agreement with God’s will for revival, pray the following prayer, or one similar expecting God to move. Father God, because You care for Your people and want all mankind to have life, You desire revival. Your revival brings life and nourishment, preservation and restoration. Thank You for sending Jesus to give us Your abundant life. Lord, start revival in me first. I am Your servant and I place myself in position to receive revival. I feed on the Scriptures as a sheep feeds in green pastures because Your words are life to me. Holy Spirit of God, You raised Jesus from the dead and You dwell in me. So, I yield to You to energize my spirit, restore my soul and rejuvenate my mortal body. I renew my mind with Your Word. In my innermost being is a well of living water and I am revived! Revival not only is life to me, but life to everyone who calls on the Name of the LORD. Therefore, I intercede on behalf of the people. I call upon You as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I call upon the mighty Name of Jesus. All of mankind needs life, Lord! All of mankind needs revival because it is life—Your life. I speak and sow seeds of revival everywhere I go. I send forth angels to reap the harvest of revival all over the world. I put my hand to the sickle to reap the rich harvest of revival in my home, my church, my community, in the marketplace, on the job, in my country and in all the world. Pour Yourself out on the people. Lord of the harvest, send
65
forth labourers, positioning them in strategic places to minister as You pour out Your Spirit on all flesh. Almighty God, show Yourself mighty and strong with signs and wonders. Holy Spirit, breathe on all the people of the world. I pray this in the Name above all names, Jesus. Amen.

Prayer of Dedication, Consecration, and Submission
F
ather, I pray the Prayer of Dedication, Consecration, and Submission. In every area of my life, I belong to You. Father, I’ll go where you want me to go, I’ll do what you want me to do. Not my will, but your will be done. Thank you, Father that you work in me both to will and to do of your good pleasure. You have a good plan for my life, a plan of peace and joy. Father, what you want and what you desire is what I want; that is what I desire. Not my will, but your will for my life every day, Father. Not my own way, not the way of the flesh, but the way of the Spirit. Father, your will, your plan, your way. Father, I dedicate my life to you in every area. You have a plan for me in every area of life. Thank you, Father, for the joy of obedience. I will obey you with joy. Father, I want to have the spirit of obedience in my life, not rebellion or pride, not resistance or hard-heartedness, but a soft, sensitive heart that is willing to do anything. I rebuke rebellion and stubbornness in Jesus’ Name. Father, I say before your presence that I am willing to do anything you want me to do. No matter what man
67
says, no matter what the world says, you have found a willing person. You have found an obedient person. Father, I will do what you say all the way, just the way you say it, no more and no less, and with joy. Thank you, Father, for the spirit of faith and the spirit of obedience. And Father, thank you that your will be fulfilled in my life to your glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Those Involved in Court Cases
M
any Christians are acquainted with the anxiety that can come from being involved in a court case. Sometimes, even full-blown desperation will try to take over the situation. But it’s up to you whether or not you vie in to these emotions. In order to come out victoriously, you must refuse anxiety and fear.
If you are in the middle of a court case, God cares. He wants you to have faith in Him for direction through every situation related to the legal battle. As you face a legal battle, you must choose to walk in God’s righteousness, His integrity, His love and His Word. And through the challenge, stand on, pray and confess the truth of God’s Word as reflected in the following prayer: Father, I ask You to help me as I face this legal battle. I thank You for being a very present help in time of trouble. I open my heart to the Holy Spirit to reveal any of my own disobedience in this matter so that I may repent and receive Your forgiveness. Deliver me from hate and revenge. In the Name of Jesus, I ask You to cause truth to prevail. I pray that You will protect me from lying tongues and deceitful lips. I believe and declare that no weapon
69
formed against me will prosper, and any tongue unjustly rising against me will be shown to be wrong. I will dwell in Your secret place, which hides me from the strife of tongues. I pray that you will stop false witnesses that speak against me and cause them to be caught in their own trap. Help me as I reply in defence. Let Your Spirit give me the words to say when I need them. By an act of my will, I refuse to fear, and I cast down any imagination that tries to exalt itself above the knowledge of You and Your love. In the Name of Jesus, I now cast the care of this court case upon You. I resist anxiety, and I receive calmness and peace. I believe that Your favour and the favour of man will surround me like a shield. Your Word says You will prefect that which concerns me, so I make a conscious decision to receive Your perfected end. I give You all the glory for all that will be accomplished, and I will testify of Your goodness. Amen.

Cleansing Prayer
H
eavenly Father, I need Your Holy Spirit to help me not think and live according to my old ways. I place my childhood fears and bloodline curses behind me and I cancel them, in Jesus’ name. By faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I choose not to be enslaved to them any longer! Today, I lay aside my fear of facing the pain from past friendships, romances, lovers, and relatives. I renounce the spirits of pride, bitterness, lying, self-exaltation, rebellion, witchcraft, and the occult. I choose to not walk in these any longer. When I am tested by these deceiving spirits, I choose to respond in godliness, righteousness and authority. Father, I thank you for removing any mental strongholds and for helping me to think and see clearly. I choose not to listen to other spiritual voices. Instead, I choose to listen to Your voice. From this time forth, I will not trust in lying spirits nor the spirits who claim to offer me protection from evil. I close every door to Satan. I will not seek a false defence to shield myself from wrong, exploitation, or harm. I look to You, Lord Jesus, and place my trust in You to protect me from the harm of well-meaning people and from demonic spirits.
71
Jesus, I choose You to be my Saviour and Holy Spirit, I choose You to be my Defence. Father, according to Your word in 1 John 1:9 it says, If we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So I confess that I have not loved rightly. I have resented others. I confess and renounce my sin, known and unknown. I now recognize my sin and confess it before you. With godly sorrow and repentance in my heart, I ask You Father, to deliver me from the snare of the fowler and set me totally free. Your truth is a shield to me and under Your wings, I seek refuge. By faith in your word, I now receive and take hold of your forgiveness and cleansing. Also Father, by the blood of Your Son, Jesus, I forgive myself as You have forgiven me. Lord Jesus, I claim Your promise in Psalm 91:14-15: Because I have set my love upon You, You will deliver me. You will set me on high because I have known Your Name. I will call upon You, and You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble. You will deliver me and honour me. Father, I give You thanks and praise and I believe it is done, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Prayer For Breaking Curses
I
n the name of Jesus Christ, I now rebuke, break, and loose myself and my family from any and all evil curses, fetishes, charms, vexes, hexes, spells, every jinx, all psychic powers, sorcery, bewitchments, enchantments, witchcraft, love potions, and psychic prayers that have been put upon me, back to ten generations on both sides of my family. I break and loose myself from any and all connected or related spirits from any person or persons or from any occult or psychic sources. I ask You, Heavenly Father, to return them to the senders now. Let him that loves cursing receive it unto himself.
Psychic Heredity And Bondage In the name of Jesus, I now renounce, break, free, and loose myself and my family from all psychic heredity, demonic holds, psychic powers, and bondage of physical and mental illnesses, family, marital, and other curses upon us, back to ten generations on both sides of our families resulting from sins, transgressions, iniquities, occult and psychic involvements of myself, my parents, and any other ancestors of mine or my spouse, and all ex-spouses, or their parents, or any of their ancestors. I plead the blood of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus declaring that the enemy cannot penetrate the blood of Jesus.

A Prayer for Those Desiring Children
Y
ou have a right to believe God for anything He has promised in His Word. The Word says in Psalm 127:3, “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 84:11 says, “…no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Also, Psalm 113:9 says, “He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children….” Exodus 23:26 in The Amplified Bible states, “None shall lose her young by miscarriage or be barren in your land….” Besides focusing on these scriptures, remember also that God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). What He did for Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, He’ll do for you. These are truths that John and Marty Copeland learned to apply when believing for the conception of their first child. Their daughter Courtney Mercer Copeland became the seventh grandchild of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland because of the walk of faith in her parents’ lives. They learned to sow seeds for the specific things they were believing for. Marty gave a baby shower to honour and bless a friend. She made the conscious decision to sow love into the lives of the children around her. Every time they prayed over their food, John would say aloud, “Father, I thank You that Marty’s pregnant. We have a perfect child.”
77
At a time when her faith was beginning to waver and she needed a breakthrough, God revealed to Marty that she wasn’t “missing it.” Rather, she just needed to seek Him more by pressing in with her faith in every area possible. Search for additional scriptures and look for new areas to apply your faith. God will meet you where you are with the encouragement you need to receive your manifestation. Children are the right of a marriage covenant with God (Deuteronomy 28:11). Based on the Word of God, we set ourselves in agreement with you that you have the desire of your heart, a child of your own. The Lord perfects that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8). God’s Word is always His will. We have included a prayer and scriptures that we believe will minister to you as you stand on them. As you make these scriptures part of your prayer life, you may be sure that you are praying according to the will of God. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” (1 John 5:14-15). We believe with you! Father, as Your children, we come to You and remind You that we have been redeemed from the curse of the law and You have promised us all the blessings of Abraham. We are in a covenant with You and we expect You to fulfil the conditions of that covenant.
78
Father, we desire to have a baby, and since Your Word says that children are a gift from You, we expect to have a normal, healthy baby. Since __________ has been redeemed from the curse, we expect her to carry that child full term. Your Word says You will bless the fruit of her womb, and Your Word says she will lose none of her young by miscarriage or be barren and that You will keep her safe through childbearing. Since she is no longer under the curse, she will be able to have this child the way You originally planned for Eve to have children—free from pain and suffering and pangs and spasms of distress. So we expect this child to be brought into the world quickly and with no pain. We believe she will feel the contractions but will feel no pain. We believe, according to Your Word, that she will have a beautiful pregnancy with no suffering during it. Thank You, Father, for hearing and answering our prayers and for faithfully watching over Your Word to perform it. We know You have given Your angels charge over us to accompany and defend and preserve us in all our ways. Now, Satan, you hear the Word of God. We speak it to you and command you to take your hands off us, God’s children, in the Name of Jesus. We break all assignments you have put up against us and forbid you to hinder this pregnancy or childbirth in any way. We bind you, and the Word of God declares that whatever we bind on this earth is bound in heaven, and whatever we loose is loosed in heaven. And we loose the peace of God to flood our hearts right now, in Jesus’ Name.
79
Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers. We love You and we appreciate You and look forward to seeing this precious little love that You have especially picked out for us.

The Children
F
ather, in the name of Jesus, I pray and confess Your Word over my children and surround them with my faith - faith in Your Word that You watch over it to perform it! I confess and believe that my children are Disciples of Christ taught of the Lord and obedient to Your will. Great is the peace and undisturbed composure of my children, because You, God, contend with that which contends with my children, and You give them safety and ease them. Father, You will perfect that which concerns me. I commit and cast the care of my children once and for all over on you, Father. They are in Your hands, and I am positively persuaded that You are able to guard and keep that which I have committed to You. You are more than enough! I confess that my children obey their parents in the Lord as His representatives, because this is just and right. My children honour, esteems, and value as precious their parents; for this is the first commandment with a promise: that all may be well with my children and that they may live long on the earth. I believe and confess that my children choose life and love You, Lord, obey Your voice, and cling to You; for You are their life and
81
the length of their days. Therefore, my children are the head and not the tail, and shall be above only and not beneath. They are blessed when they come in and when they go out. I believe and confess that You give Your angels charge over my children to accompany and defend and preserve them in all their ways. You, Lord, are their refuge and fortress. You are their glory and the lifter of their heads. As parents, we will not provoke, irritate, or fret our children. We will not be hard on them or harass them, or cause them to become discouraged, sullen, or morose, or feel inferior and frustrated. We will not break or wound their spirits, but we will rear them tenderly in the training, discipline, counsel, and admonition of the Lord. We will train them in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it. O Lord, my Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on or above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger. I sing praise to Your name, O Most High. The enemy is turned back from my children in the name of Jesus! They increase in wisdom and in favour with God and man. Amen.

A Prayer for the Nations
D
aily, international events are setting the stage for Jesus’ return. As believers in every land continue to pray on behalf of their leaders, God is pouring out His Spirit—making tremendous power available to guide the governments of every nation according to His divine will and plan. Psalm 2:8, The Amplified Bible, says, “Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.” As you stand for your nation or other nations of the world, you can pray the following:
Oh God in heaven, I come before You in the Name of Jesus on behalf of the leaders of (name the nation). First of all in accordance with 1 Timothy 2:1-2, I intercede and give thanks for kings and all in authority and expect to live a quiet and peaceable life. I pray for the Word of God to be given free course and Your people to be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men (2 Thessalonians 3:1-2). The heart of the king is in Your hand and You will turn it whichever way You choose (Proverbs 21:1). I ask You to direct the heart and mind of (name the nation’s leader) to make decisions that will lead the country in Your ways and according to Your Word. I thank you, Lord, for bringing change to the politics of (name the nation). Thank You for changing the voices of influence to speak in agreement with Your Word. I ask
85
You to send labourers filled with the spirit of wisdom and might, to surround the leaders of (name the nation) with godly counsel and insight. I also ask you to remove from positions of authority those who stubbornly oppose righteousness, and replace them with men and women who will follow You and Your appointed course for (name the nation). As we enter the final hours of the last days, I ask for the spirit of faith, the workings of miracles, for signs, wonders, gifts and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and power to be in strong operation. Let believers in (name the nation) and in every land be unified to stand strong by faith in Jesus, the Anointed One and His anointing, that Your glory may be revealed in all the earth. Thank you, Lord that these requests come to pass. I believe I receive. Amen.

A Prayer Compatibility in Marriage
F
ather, in the name of Jesus, I pray and confess that my spouse and I endure long and are patient and kind; that we are never envious and never boil over with jealousy. We are not boastful or vainglorious, and we do not display ourselves haughtily. We are not conceited or arrogant and inflated with pride. We are not rude and unmannerly, and we do not act unbecomingly. We do not insist on our own rights or our own way, for we are not self-seeking or touchy or fretful or resentful. We take no account of the evil done to us and pay no attention to a suffered wrong. We do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but we rejoice when right and truth prevail. We bear up under anything and everything that comes. We are ever ready to believe the best of each other. Our hopes are fadeless under all circumstances. We endure everything without weakening. Our love never fails - it never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end. We purposely and consciously walk in the agape love of God. We are confessing that our lives and our family's lives lovingly express truth in all things that we speak truly, deal truly, and live truly. We are enfolded in love and have grown up in every way and in all things. We esteem and delight in one another, forgiving one another readily
87
and freely as God in Christ has forgiven us. We are imitators of God and copy His example as well-beloved children imitate their father. Thank You, Father, that our marriage grows stronger each day because it is founded on Your Word and on Your kind of love. We give You the praise for it all, Father, in the name of Jesus.

A Prayer for Those Who Spread the Gospel
T
he Bible says, “For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), and His ears are attentive to their prayer” (1 Peter 3:12, The Amplified Bible). We come boldly before the throne of grace and obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Confess the Word over pastors, preachers, evangelists and all those who spread the gospel. This is from the Word, and God hastens to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). “Father, in the Name of Jesus, I pray and confess that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon ________ with the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. I pray that as Your Spirit rests upon ________, it will make him/her of quick understanding because You, Lord, have anointed and qualified him/her to preach the gospel to the meek, the poor, the wealthy and the afflicted. You have sent ________ to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the physical and spiritual captives, and to open the prisons and the eyes of those who are bound. All people shall declare that ________ is a minister of the Lord because of the Word which he/she speaks in power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit. “I pray and believe that no weapon formed against ________ shall prosper and that every tongue that rises
89
against him/her in judgment shall be shown to be in the wrong. I pray that You prosper ________ spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and socially and in all abundance. I confess that ________ holds fast and follows the pattern of wholesome and sound teaching in all faith and love which is for us in Christ Jesus, and that ________guards and keeps with the greatest care the precious truth which has been entrusted to him/her by the Holy Spirit who makes His home in _______. Lord, I believe and say that you grant unto ________ that with freedom of utterance he/she will open his/her mouth boldly and courageously as he/she ought to do to proclaim the gospel to the people. I hereby confess that I stand behind ________ and undergird him/her in prayer. I will say only that good thing that will edify _______. I will continue to intercede for him/her and speak and pray blessings upon him/her in the Name of Jesus.

A Prayer for Our Schools
oday’s education system has drastically departed from what God first established in this nation through leaders who sought His counsel. The Word of God once served as the basic element in educating Americans. The Ten Commandments were even displayed in schools as a guide to moral attitude and conduct. The state of our educational system may look hopeless, but when something looks hopeless, it is evidence of a spiritual problem. Hope can begin to work in these circumstances. Hope is a spiritual force which grows stronger and stronger the longer we stand. Faith can begin to work in these circumstances. “Now faith is the substance of the things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Patience can begin to work in these circumstances. The definition of patience is being constant or being the same way at all times. As believers exercise these three spiritual forces, the Word of God can work to change the direction of American education. Our God is a good God! He caused the captivity of Judah and Israel to be reversed, then rebuilt them as they were at first (Jeremiah 33:7). He can do the same in our schools. Pray this prayer of faith and set yourself in agreement with the Word of God for the restoration of God’s principles in all levels of education.
91
Almighty God, I set myself in agreement with the Word of God and with what You once established in education. I release my hope and faith in Your Word. I patiently expect Your Glory to be manifest in schools all across our nation. I come before You on behalf of the students, educators and administrators of the entire educational system in America. Lord Jesus, I ask You to restore honour, integrity, virtue and peace in American classrooms. I confess Isaiah 54:13: “All thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” Every time I hear a report of violence and terror in our schools, I will say out loud, “Our children are taught of the Lord and great is the peace and the anointing on them!” And Jesus, You and I know the educators and the administrators cannot teach and run our schools without You and Your Anointing. So, I intercede and give thanks for those You have ordained and placed in positions of authority and responsibility in our schools across America. I believe for Your Anointing to be in them and upon them. I am not waiting until I see the Spirit of God moving in this situation. I am starting my confession NOW! I combine my faith with those who are also praying and believing for the wisdom, honour, power and glory of God to be demonstrated in our school system. I am releasing my faith for the next generation! Lord Jesus, I thank You for the redemptive work You are doing in our schools and in the people who run them. The students and teachers are on Your heart and they are on mine, too. Our schools will be a joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth! Nations will
92
fear God and tremble because of all the goodness, peace, prosperity, security and stability You have provided. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. We are the blessed. Hallelujah. Glory to God.

Pray for Us as We Pray for You, Our Partner
D
aily, I pray for you and earnestly believe God that you "prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3 John 2)."
In turn, we depend on your prayers of agreement and faith, also. For that reason, I want you to have the same scripture promises and prayers that I pray for you every day so you can know and agree with me in faith about these things. As you pray these scriptures, supply your name in the blanks along with mine. Deuteronomy 11:21 will be the result: "That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth."
95
Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 1. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 2. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 3. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 4. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 5. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Father, I pray that _____________ never has a want unfulfilled. They will follow the Great Shepherd, Jesus, to their green pastures of rest and peace. They will live alongside still waters of abundance and prosperity. I pray for every Partner who is going through the valley of the shadow of death. We stand together fearlessly and boldly on Your Word. We come to the table of provision by the blood of Jesus.

Psalm 91 Father, I pray that _________________ dwells in the secret place of the Most High. Together with ______________, I say of the Lord: 1. He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust: 2. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 3. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 4. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 5. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 6. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 7. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 8. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 9. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 10. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 11. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
97
12. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 13. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 14. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 15. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
98
Psalm 103 Father, I pray that _________________ dwells in the secret place of the Most High. Together with ______________, I say of the Lord: 1. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies; 5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. 6. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. 7. He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. 8. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
99
13. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. 14. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. 15. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. 16. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. 17. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; 18. To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. 19. The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. 20. Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. 21. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. 22. Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

Isaiah 54 Father because of what Jesus did for us in Isaiah 53, ____________ and I sing and shout Isaiah 54:
1. Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. 2. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3. For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. 4. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5. For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6. For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
101
7. For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. 9. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. 10. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. 11. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. 12. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. 13. And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. 14. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 15. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. 16. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
102
17. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

First John 5:18: "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." We are born of God, Satan, therefore the seed of sin is not in us. The seed of righteousness is in us. You touch us not! We plead the blood of Jesus! Now, Father, I pray for _____________ according to the full wisdom, will, and knowledge of God. I pray in the spirit for ____________ according to 1 Corinthians 2:7: "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory." OTHER TYPES OF PRAYERS 109
110
Thanksgiving And And Praise
T
he Bible says if you pray according to God’s will, you know He hears you and you have the petitions you desired of Him (1 John 5:14-15). God’s Word is His will. God is faithful. His Word can be relied on. Don’t wait until you can see the manifestation before you believe you have it. That will put you over into an area of waiting and hoping. If you believe you receive when you pray, begin to praise God for the answer. Faith involves thanksgiving and praise. Philippians 4:6 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Thanksgiving and praise are integral parts of prayer. You and God are working together. It is your prayer and His power. Praise is more than just words. There is power in it. God did not ordain praise just so we could brag on Him. Psalm 8:1-2 says, “O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.” Jesus
111
quoted this verse of scripture and said, “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise” (Matthew 21:16). Strength and praise are the same according to the Word of God. God ordained praise to stop Satan in his tracks. Once you have believed that you received because of the Word, your faith is in action. Through praise, you are throwing your faith up against that mountain of adversity in your life. Jesus said if you have faith and doubt not, you can speak to the mountain and it will be removed. You will have what you say. If you quit applying the force of faith, the mountain will not be removed. You want the mountain to keep moving until it sinks into the sea and is completely out of sight! Apply the force of faith by praising God that it is gone! The only way Satan can stop you and your faith is through unbelief. He does not have power to stop God. He cannot stop that mountain from moving into the sea. The only way he can succeed is to make you quit applying the pressure. The mountain may be sickness, disease, alcohol, family trouble, financial trouble or any evil work. Jesus bought and paid for the answer to all of it. You cannot face any problem that has not been taken care of through Calvary’s Cross. The psalmist David said, “I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing
112
praise to thy name, O thou most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence” (Psalm 9:1-3). He did not say if. He said when the enemies fall back! As you praise God, those enemies will retreat. The Bible says He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Praise is not something you just feel once in a while. God is worthy of your praise. The Bible says to offer the sacrifice of praise. What did Israel do in the Old Testament when they had problems they could not overcome? The priest would offer sacrifices to God to bring Him on the scene and God would stop the onslaught of the enemy. As a new covenant believer, you are a priest of God. No other sacrifice can be offered. Jesus offered the ultimate blood sacrifice. As a priest, you offer the sacrifice of praise. Hebrews 13:15 says, “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” In Luke 17, Jesus ministered to 10 men who had leprosy. They said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed” (verses 13-14). Verse 15 says, “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified [praised] God.” They were all cleansed. But only one praised God unashamedly. Jesus said, “Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine?” Then He said to the man, “...Thy faith hath made thee whole” (verse 19). The
113
others were cleansed but he was made whole! His faith kept working. His mountain did not stop at the seashore or sink halfway into the sea! No trace of his mountain was left. Whatever the disease had destroyed was restored. That is the kind of power you can have right now in your own life. If you are not familiar with praising God, or it makes you feel uncomfortable, ask God to show you how. You can start by reading the Psalms aloud. They speak of the great and mighty works of God. They praise Him for His goodness, power and mercy. God is faithful to perfect your praises!
114
The Prayer of Committal
I
f you will practice what I am about to share with you, this will be the last day you will ever have a worried thought. You can commit yourself and all the cares and worries of your mind to Him and enjoy divine peace. God is vehemently against worry. It does not produce anything but stress, strain and death. Jesus preached against it. Paul preached against it. The whole Bible is against worry because Satan designed it. Take Philippians 4:6-7 as a command. “Be careful for nothing; but in everYthing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” The Amplified Bible says, “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything.” First Peter 5:6-7 says, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon him....” Not 75 percent of your care. Not everything but your kids or everything but your finances. Your confession every morning should be, “I do not have a care, because it has been cast over on my Lord.” Cast out every worried thought that would trample its way into your thinking. Roll it over onto Him. For example let’s say you were standing about 20 feet away from me and I tossed my car keys to you. If
115
someone else were to come to me and say, “Brother Copeland, I need the keys to your car. I need to use it.” I would say, “I can’t help you. I cast my keys over on him. I don’t have them.” I didn’t say those keys ceased to exist, nor that he could not have them. I didn’t say I couldn’t get them back. If I went to get them, you would give them back to me. But if someone wants the car keys, they will have to talk to you because I cast them over on you. That’s what we need to do with our cares. We must cast them over on the Lord and not take them back! If Satan brings a worried thought to your mind, saying, What if..., you can tell him to talk to God about it. It is in His hands, not yours! Many people want God to supernaturally remove their worry. But that’s not the way to get the peace of God. God’s peace comes by acting on His Word that says to cast all of your worry and anxiety over on Him. You must replace those thoughts with the Word. Philippians 4:8 says to think on “whatsoever things are true…honest…just…lovely...of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” You are the one who must control your mind. The Word says the peace of God will garrison and mount guard over your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7, The Amplified Bible).
116
But you are going to have to do something. You must keep your thoughts under control. Second Corinthians 10:5 says, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” People have told me they can’t quit worrying. They can! Anyone can stop worrying. The verse before that says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but powerful through God to the pulling down of strongholds. The strongholds of Satan are in the mind. He makes suggestions like, It won’t work this time, and What if... and, But.... The power of God begins to operate when you cast your care over on Him. As long as you worry about it, you only hinder the flow of His power and tie His hands. Meditate on these three scriptures: 1 Peter 5:6-7; 2 Corinthians 10:5 and Philippians 4:6. Joshua 1:8 says if you will meditate in the Word day and night, you will be able to see how to do it. Philippians 4:9 says, “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do....” As you give your attention to these scriptures, the Holy Spirit will reveal this truth to you and you will then be able to act on it! Philippians 4:13 is the finale: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” You don’t have to worry again. The greater One dwells in you. He is
117
able to put you over. Commit to it. You will never worry again.
118
Prayer of Dedication and Worship
T
hen cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." (Matthew 26:36-39).
The prayer of dedication and worship holds a tremendous amount of power. We need to know how it works and when it is to be used. In the past, it has been misunderstood. When the leper came to Jesus and said, “I know You can make me well…if You will,” Jesus said, “I will.” He already knew the Father’s will was healing. He did not have to pray, “If it be Thy will.” God’s will is to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9-10). Heaven has no sickness. The only time the word “if” would not be an expression of unbelief is in the prayer of dedication and worship. All other times, using the word “if” in prayer can create unbelief. Praying for healing then, whether it be yours or someone else’s, is a prayer that changes things so do not use “If it be Thy will.”
119
Unbelief hinders prayer. Most people pray, “If it be Thy will,” thinking they are being humble. Actually, they are praying in ignorance of the Word of God. The prayer of dedication is getting your will in line with God’s will to bring success into a situation. It joins you and God, and aims you toward the same goal. So many times people are running in the opposite direction, hoping God is going to support their endeavours. You should get God involved with those endeavours before you ever move! Never be afraid to yield your will to God. He wants you to succeed! His will is always to your advantage. Proverbs 16:3 in The Amplified Bible says, “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.” When you pray the prayer of dedication and live by it, you will experience the peace of God because you are truly trusting Him. Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
120
United Prayer
S
o when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done. For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shown. And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, for to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. And now, Lord, behold their threatening: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, by stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness." (Acts 4:21-31).
121
In this day and time, united prayer is seldom discussed. But in most instances in the Bible involving a body of believers, we find them praying in a united manner. In many of our churches today, however, someone usually leads in prayer. Very little is taught from the Word about praying together out loud. The previous scripture is the basis for united prayer. Peter and John had been arrested and appeared before the religious council. Their lives were threatened if they continued to preach in the Name of Jesus. They went back to their own company and told everyone what had happened. When they heard, they all prayed. A tremendous amount of power is involved in united prayer. What were the results of this prayer? Acts 5:12 says, “And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people.... Their one request was answered exactly the way they prayed. The political system of the day tried, but could not stop the power of God in operation. This united prayer was offered accurately according to the Word of God. As the Body of Christ, we need to get in one accord on the Word of God and expect results. It will cause things to change!
122
The Prayer of Binding and Loosing
G
od intends for the Body of Christ to police the evil forces of this world. We are to change circumstances to line up with God’s will and put Satan under our feet through the power of God. We are to spoil his plans, plots and manoeuvres against God’s people!
The prayer of binding and loosing halts Satan’s activities. Matthew 12:29 says, “Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.” You have authority over Satan (Luke 10:19). You exercise it with the prayer of binding and loosing. “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18). As you enforce the authority vested in the Church, speak directly to Satan. Exercise your faith in Jesus’ work at Calvary. When Jesus was raised from the dead, He stripped Satan of his authority over mankind. That authority has been delegated to the Body of Christ in the earth. Bind Satan in the Name of Jesus. Many times add a paragraph to your agreement prayer: “Satan, we bind you and render you helpless in this
123
situation. As a matter of record, you are hereby bound in the Name of Jesus.” From then on, thank God that Satan is bound and unable to work in the situation. We refuse to give him any place. The ultimate choice is yours, whether or not to receive from God. Jesus asked the man at the pool of Bethesda, “Wilt thou be made whole?” (John 5:6). His attitude is still the same: “Do you want to stay the way you are, or do you want to be made whole?” The choice is yours. God has already provided the way out for you. Do not give Satan any place by talking about the problem after you have agreed and bound him. Instead of talking the problem, talk the answer—God’s Word. Then loose the angelic forces of God to see that it comes to pass. Hebrews 1:13-14 describes the angels as ministering spirits, sent to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. They are messengers sent to work in our behalf. Say: “Ministering spirits, I loose you in the Name of Jesus to minister in my behalf according to the will of God.”
124
The Prayer of Petition and Supplication
T
he words petition and supplication are defined as “a formal request addressed to a higher power.” This prayer changes things. It is based on Philippians 4:6:“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” To illustrate, suppose you obtained an audience with the governor of your state. After you went through the proper channels, would you then enter his office without being prepared? Of course not! You would have your ideas formulated and the arguments settled in your mind long before you obtained an audience with him. Shouldn’t you handle yourself in the same way when approaching God? Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace....” Do not go into the prayer of petition and supplication without knowing what you want to say and how you want to say it. Enter the throne room with your petition drawn up according to God’s Word. Ask yourself these questions: What happened at Calvary? How did the sub-stitutionary sacrifice of Jesus affect this trial I am facing?
125
Then, find out what God has already done regarding your situation. If you need healing, look up those scriptures pertaining to healing. Present your petition. No matter what your situation may be, God has provided an answer for it in His Word. The Cross paid the price for your deliverance.
126
The Prayer of Agreement
T
he prayer of agreement when prayed according to Matthew 18:18-20 will cover every circumstance in life:
Verily I say unto you, What so ever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Let me use finances to illustrate. The first thing to do is agree with the Word. Read the scriptures and pray. Gloria and I sometimes write down our agreements like this:
“We hereby agree, according to Philippians 4:19 and Matthew 18:19 as follows: ‘Father, we see in Your Word that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory. We are setting ourselves in agreement that our financial need is met according to Your Word. We believe we receive (be specific) __________________. We establish this agreement, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.’”
127
Amen means “So be it.” As far as we are concerned, the matter is closed. We just thank God from that point forward. We know if we want results we must not waver. To waver is to doubt. If Satan brings doubt, we simply speak to him in the authority of Jesus’ Name and say, “Don’t bring us your lies. Not only is it written in God’s Word, but we have agreed. We have written it down.” As far as we are concerned, the need is met. There is no doubt about it because we have agreed according to the Word of God. Consequently, our confession and actions will be in line with what we have established as truth. There have been times when we have wavered, so we take it to God and receive forgiveness for unbelief, reinforce our original decree and go at it again. We all make mistakes in the walk of faith. The important thing is to keep walking. If you miss it, go at it again. The biggest mistake of all is to become discouraged and quit before you receive your answer. I challenge you to write down your agreements. Seeing it in black and white on paper will make a difference! You will be more likely to line up your confession and your actions with your agreement. Jesus said that if any two on earth agree, He would be in the midst of that agreement to see that it comes to pass. You are on earth so you qualify. If you agree with another believer as touching anything that lines up with
128
the Word of God, He is there in your midst to carry it out. Jesus wants you to agree and will see to it that it comes to pass. The word agree is translated in The Amplified Bible as “agree and harmonize together or make a symphony together.” The word symphony caught my attention one time, so I looked it up and found that it means “all available instruments in harmony.” You must have your spirit, mind and actions in agreement with the Word. Agreeing spiritually is to agree with the Word of God. Make up your mind God’s Word is true and that it will come to pass. Secondly, be strong in your mind. That is Satan’s battleground. You must control your thoughts. Writing down your agreement will be beneficial for this reason. It will keep it before your eyes so when your mind tries to change directions, control it with your agreement on God’s Word. Do not tie God’s hands. Allow Him to work. You have agreed, spirit and soul (mind). Then your actions must come in line. If finances are what you agreed on, expect the money to come in. This is part of being in agreement. You cannot agree in prayer about something, then act the opposite and expect it to come to pass. If you do, your actions will eventually take over your thinking.
129
Agreement with the Word and another believer are not the only things involved in this kind of prayer. Agreement is also harmony. Harmony is extremely important. When speaking of prayer in Mark 11:25-26, Jesus said This is vital in your prayer life. You must forgive everyone who has offended you. Jesus did not say, “Think about it for six weeks and then forgive if or when you feel better.” He said, forgive when you pray. Jesus prayed, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” (Matthew 6:9-12). He put a condition on forgiveness. The condition is “I don’t expect to be forgiven until I forgive.” He displayed the kind of discipline the believer should exercise when he is praying. How important is this? In Galatians 5:6, the Bible says faith works by love. If you are operating with an unforgiving heart, your prayer life will be paralyzed. The Word says we know we have the petitions we have desired of Him, if we do the things that are pleasing in His sight (1 John 3:22). Put these scriptures together and you quickly see unforgiveness would actually ruin the whole prayer system.
130
Agreement makes prayer work. You can experience a place of agreement with God’s Word, and harmony that will produce power, as you forgive and agree with another believer. You can affect governments, families and the lives of others. You can change your financial situation; affect your church and your pastor with the power of prayer. Find someone who can agree with you according to the Word of God. The same principle works the other way. If you are in disagreement, the door is open for Satan to come in. “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work” (James 3:16). In Matthew 18:21, Peter asked Jesus, “Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus replied, “I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. How many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus replied, “I tell you, not seven times, but Until seventy times seven” (verse 22). Forgive because God said to, and not because you feel like it. Build your home, your church and every other area of your life on the unselfish love of God. Selfishness has never built anything it did not destroy. But love never fails. The love of God is the very center of the family of God because God is love. You are His very own child, born again with His love nature inside you.
131
Don’t let that love lie dormant. Cast down selfishness and let loose the love of God in you. You cannot fail when love is in dominion. When you forgive and reach for harmony, you come to a place where you have the spiritual awareness to perceive the closeness of God. Jesus said if you get into harmony and agree together, He would be in the midst of you. God wants to be involved with you. When you are in harmony and agreement with those around you, you will step into a deeper, more personal fellowship with God. He becomes real and vital to you. Fellowship with your heavenly Father is one of the greatest things you will ever have in your Christian walk! It causes a confidence and an assurance deep down in your heart. You know your prayers are answered because you have conformed yourself to His will. As you forgive, the joy that comes through answered prayer will become your own personal experience. Jesus said, “Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:24).

he manifestation of the blessing, saith the Lord, is at an all-time high. You are approaching a blessing manifestation that the human race has never seen before. The blessing will surround you. The blessing will encase you. All debt will have to get up and leave you the same way leprosy left the lepers of old. Debt is financial sickness. It is financial leprosy. It is a burden and it is part of the curse. If you will begin to confess that this blessing manifestation is coming, you will be shocked and thrilled at how quickly you will have the glory arise and drive debt right out of your life. I will bless you beyond your income. I will bless you beyond your salaries. I will bless you beyond anything you have ever known before. I will bring financial blessing on you that you don’t have any idea where it came from. It has come to an explosive place. It’s ready. I’m ready. Are you ready? saith the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 “Be happy [in your faith] and rejoice and be gladhearted continually (always); 17 Be unceasing in prayer
133
[praying perseveringly]; 18 Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].” 1. If you are not happy, your prayers are not going to get answered. 2. You cannot go to the Lord grumbling about your circumstances. 3. We are supposed to be happy always and to pray always. (Vs 16-17) 4. You cannot separate prayer from being happy. 5. God lives in a gated community; the gate code is “thanksgiving.” (Vs 18) 6. Your response will always be based on what you focus on. 7. When you focus on your problem, you will always be miserable. 8. When you focus on what God has already done for you, you will have the right attitude for prayer. 9. Thanksgiving is a critical part to both enter and exit the throne room.
134
10. If you don’t believe God will answer your prayer, don’t bother praying! 11. Without thanksgiving, your prayer is wishywashy! 12. You are insinuating that God might answer your request or He might not. A. In the New Testament account of the ten lepers, Jesus instructed them to go to the priest for verification of their healing. B. The lepers were walking to the priest by faith; the healing had not yet manifested. C. When you operate by faith, debt has to leave you. D. Your faith will cause your debt to be eradicated. E. You have to combine the natural with the spiritual to get desired results. F. Only one of the ten lepers went back to Jesus to give thanks. G. Leprosy stopped growing on those who went to the priest, but for the one who came back to give thanks, every body part that leprosy had destroyed was restored. H. Nine got healed, but only one got restored.
135
I. The year of Jubilee was for restoration. J. Everybody say, ―I – must – drive – debt – out of my life.ǁ K. When God created Adam, He blessed him and said, “Be fruitful and multiply.” L. God gave man dominion, authority, and rulership over the earth. M. Since God gave authority over the earth to man, that meant He no longer had it. N. Asking Jesus to get you out of debt is a ridiculous prayer; it is our duty, not His.
Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive. A. One of the definitions of prayer is “jurisdiction.” B. Jurisdiction applies to the Prayer of Faith.
1 John 5:14 136
And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. 15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him. 1. In order for prayer to be answered, it has to be heard! 2. It can only be heard if it lines up with His will. 3. As long as He hears it, you got it! 4. Vs 15: “We have;” not “we will have.” It is past tense. 5. The moment you prayed is the moment you received. 6. Thanksgiving is in order when you have just received something! 7. Do not ask over and over again. 8. You have to believe it before you actually physically see it. The Prayer of Faith
James 5:13 Is anyone among you afflicted (ill-treated, suffering evil)? He should pray. Is anyone glad at heart? He should sing praise [to God]. 14 Is anyone among you sick? He should call in the church elders (the spiritual guides). And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord’s name. 15 And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will
137
restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. 17 Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. 18 And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]. A. This letter from James is written to the church. (Vs 14) B. Christians who are sick are supposed to pray for themselves. (Vs 13)
1. The Word does not instruct you to run to your pastor or Benny Hinn. 2. Trying to find someone more anointed to pray for you is unscriptural. 3. A sinner can run to someone else, but a Christian is to pray for himself.
138
C. The second part of Vs 13 says if you are happy, you do the praising! 1. It is crazy to expect your pastor to laugh on your behalf. 2. So also, it is crazy for him to substitute his faith for the absence of yours.

Filled With the Holy Spirit Confession
I
am filled with the Holy Spirit of the Almighty God. When I pray in tongues I am praying in the spirit. The Holy Spirit is my comforter and my guide. I do not give my spirit over to evil things. Praying in the Spirit strengthens and intensifies my personal relationship with God. “My prayers are powerful because I am baptized in the Holy Spirit, and He edifies and builds up my spirit man and puts me in contact with the deep things of God. With the Holy Spirit, I am able to pray God's perfect will apart from my natural understanding, which helps me intercede for others.

Confession For Executing Justice
O
Lord our God, the Most High God, maker of heaven and earth; our Creator, our Provider, and our Protector; You are the just Judge of all the earth, sitting on Your throne of justice and judgment in the High Court of Heaven. You, Lord, execute righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. You are the Lord of the Sabaoth, Ruler of all, the God of angelic armies that fight against our enemies, and Avenger of our adversaries. Besides You there is no Saviour – salvation is only of the Lord. Because of Your great love towards all mankind, and Your love for justice and judgment, You said You forsaketh not the saints, but come to our aid on earth to uphold the justice upon which Your throne in heaven and Your kingdom on earth rests. Bring Your righteous judgment upon our adversary. Stretch forth Thy hand and execute vengeance and recompense against all he is doing and for what he has put us through – every suffering, humiliation, shame, embarrassment, loss, entrapment, sickness, and attack. He is the perpetrator behind all injustices and evil that have come against us through people. So we ask that You execute upon them the judgment written, delivering us out of every affliction.
145
Restore to us everything he has stolen from us and our ancestors; everything delayed, bring it forth, now in this season. I command the release of inventions, opportunities, discoveries, businesses, industries, creative ideas, relationships, contracts, awards, inheritance and increase that have been fraudulently held up, misdirected, sabotaged, blocked, stolen and destroyed. Execute Your vengeance against the enemy speedily, and bring to us the full recompense that is due to us as redeemed heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, that we may advance Your Kingdom among men and Nations. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
146
Freedom From Fear
F
ather, I pray for my partners, I hold them up before you. And, I stand on your Word, most especially today, in the 112th Psalm to strengthen together today, Lord. We fix our hearts, trusting in you. We are not afraid of evil tidings. They don't frighten us. No, no. We release our faith, not fear. We stand on your Word. Jesus said to Jairus at the most disastrous moment of his life. When somebody came up and said, "Your little daughter has died. You're too late. You didn't make it. Ah, yeah, Jesus probably could have healed her, if He'd have been there. But there's no use troubling him anymore. She's already died." Oh, my goodness, blindsided with bad news. Oh, but Lord Jesus, the Scripture says You answered, you didn't even give Jairus time to talk, thank God. You got in his mouth. You answered and said, "Fear not, and stop the fear. Stop the fear, and believe only and she shall be made whole."
Father, we stand on that, we refuse to contaminate our faith with fear, in Jesus' name. Now Partner and reader listen to me. You can do this thing. Get in the Word, that closet of prayer that the Bible talks about. Turn that into a life simulator. The way that we go into flight simulators. We train the way we fly, and we fly the way we train. We've done and seen all of these emergencies, and some emergency happens in the airplane, you know exactly what to do, you are not just blindsided.
147
God told Joshua to mediate in the Word of God, day and night, and that's the way you do it. Fear not, believe only. Fear not, believe only, and you shall be made free. You serve a mighty God who loves you. You are not a victim, you are a victor. We here for you, we love you, and we stand with you during this time of bad news. The victory is ours in Christ Jesus. God loves you, and we love you. And, Jesus is Lord!

Confession of Favou Favour
I
n the Name of Jesus, I am the righteousness of God. Therefore, I am entitled to covenant kindness and covenant favour. The favour of God is among the righteous. The favour of God surrounds the righteous. Therefore, it surrounds me everywhere I go and in everything I do. I expect the favour of God to be in full manifestation in my life. Never again will I be without the favour of God. It rests richly upon me. It profusely abounds in me. I am a part of the generation that is experiencing God's favour immeasurably, limitlessly, and surpassingly. Therefore, favour produces supernatural increase, promotion, restoration, honour, increased assets, greater victories, recognition, prominence, preferential treatment, petitions granted, policies and rules changed, and battles won in which I do not have to fight. The favour of God is on me and goes before. Therefore, my life will never be the same. This is the time of God's favour in my life. That is the favour of God. In Jesus' name, Amen.

hen I received Christ as my Lord I became a new creature. My old sin nature passed away. Everything in my spirit has become new. I am made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! The Lord removed my stony, hardened heart and gave me a new one. I am no longer a slave to sin because I have been redeemed and am made blameless in my spirit, soul and body! “I am a joint heir with Jesus! Jesus took back THE BLESSING, and therefore THE BLESSING belongs also to me. I am made to operate in the same manner that Jesus did according to God’s Word, and THE BLESSING is made to produce the same results in my life. I’ve been sent to use THE BLESSING to bless others, and it will flow over into the lives of others around me.”

Confession for a Healthy Lifestyle
I
commit to live a healthy lifestyle this day. I prepare healthy foods for my family and myself. I treat my body well and don't misuse it. My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, I come out from among foods that deplete my body of essential nutrients. I separate myself unto God and I eat that which is good, healthy, and nutritional and that will provide the building blocks to restore my body and bring me to the state of optimum health. I exercise regularly and my body is strong and limber, has excellent muscle tone and endurance. I have entered into God's rest and have ceased from my own works. My life is balanced according to God's perfect plan for me. I get sufficient rest, sleep, and recreation to rejuvenate myself regularly so that I begin each week refreshed and ready for Kingdom building. I keep my body under and do not allow my flesh to control me. I cancel all destructive cravings for food and substances that threaten my health and well being. I speak to all junk food that comes into my presence. I decree that you have no power to control my desires or my appetite. I am free from bondage to unhealthy food products. I draw from the wisdom of God to direct me to
159
prepare and shop for healthy foods and to manage my time properly so I don't fall back into bad eating habits. I command my body to obey me and my mind to focus on the image of health. I see myself with a daily regimen and lifestyle that positions me for a high level of anointing and productivity to fulfil the dream and vision God has placed in my heart. I walk in the spirit and do not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Confession for the Unsaved Spouse

ather, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You that the love of God has been poured into my heart by the Holy Spirit Who has been given to me. The love of and for you, Father, has been perfected and completed in me. Father, I am Your child, and I commit to walk in the God-kind of love. Since You love me, I know that You love (my spouse) also, for we are one in Your love. Father, we all have sinned and come short of your glory. Therefore, I confess and acknowledge my sins to You and ask for Your forgiveness. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness, in the Name of Jesus. I NOW freely and fully forgive (my spouse) and place (my spouse) in Your care, because of Your forgiving love. I cast all hurts, criticisms, condemnations, judgments, unforgiveness, and fears on Jesus Christ to be healed, cleansed and made whole - for both of us. I consider (my spouse) in our marital relationship. I realize that we are one, and joint-heirs to the throne with Jesus, spiritually; so that our prayers will not be hindered. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I NOW rebuke, bind, and curse all satanic attacks assigned against us; and they dry up and die - as the fig tree. I plead the blood of Jesus

I pray that all my steps be ordered by you, that my heart and my mind always respond in obedience to your directions. I pray that I choose the way of righteousness when faced with many paths of judgment, that I will always fulfil your priorities and never allow my flesh to dictate my actions or attitudes. This day, I do all things to the glory of God and I am fruitful in every good work. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Daily Spiritual Spiritual Warfare Confession To Build Up Your Inner Man
F
ather God, this day I release words of faith into the earth, spiritual seed that bring both a spiritual harvest, and a natural, physical manifestation into my life. I have no cares for I cast the whole of my cares over on Jesus, for He cares for me. I have no heavy burdens because I've taken Jesus' yoke which is easy and His burden which is light. I will not allow my soul to be cast down for I put my hope and trust in God. I am above only and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I'm blessed coming in and blessed going out. I am one spirit with God and I abide in Him always. I have the mind of Jesus Christ and the wisdom of God flows in me and through me. My body is the temple of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, for the fullness of God dwells in me. I tread upon serpents and scorpions and I exercise righteous authority over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means hurt me. I am skilled in the word of righteousness and I call things that be not as though they were. I will not fear what man or spirit can do unto me because no weapon formed against me shall
163
prosper. Any tongue that rises against me in judgment shall be condemned. The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ covers my spirit, soul and body, and has sanctified me and separated me from the world, the flesh and the devil. I not only have my senses exercised to discern both good and evil, but I aggressively come against the kingdom of darkness and spoil every plot and scheme Satan has waged against me and those around me. I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. I take my shield of faith and quench Satan's every fiery dart. I will not be distracted from doing the will of God, and I will not stray to the left hand or to the right. I have sound judgment and discretion and I refuse to be deceived by Satan in any way. My mind is sharp and my spirit is keenly sensitive to disturbances in the spirit realm. I watch and pray and prevent evil from taking place because the Holy Spirit shows me things to come. I am equipped with spiritual armour and weaponry and I am never caught off guard by the wicked one. I sow fruits of righteousness and will never back down from the truth. I am bold as a lion and I refuse to be intimidated by the enemy. All things are mine and I exercise dominion over the earth. I reign in life by Jesus Christ through grace and righteousness. My love weapon casts out fear and I
164
aggressively love others unconditionally. For love never fails! All of my days are filled with abundance and prosperity because Jesus is Lord over all. I choose to be a vessel through which His will can be done in the earth. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Confession Of Faith
I
n the name of Jesus, I am a believer. I believe God's Word. I am what the Word says I am. I have what the Word says I have. I can do what the Word says I can do. In Jesus' name, I render ineffective every negative word I have spoken, every negative thing I have thought every word and thought that has been contrary to the truth of God's Word. From this moment forward, I will acknowledge only the good things that are in me in Christ Jesus. I am saying it now: out of the good treasure of my heart, only good things will come to pass. I am the righteousness of God, a new creation, an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Jesus. I have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God's Dear Son. I have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb - redeemed from the curse of the Law; redeemed from sickness and disease, poverty and death. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am more than a conqueror. He never leaves me nor forsakes me. Since the Greater One dwells within me, I can overcome every situation. The faith of God resides within me, and through it I have the victory that overcomes the world. I thank you, Father, that I can have all these things. I believe it in my heart. I have released it with my mouth.

So be it. It will surely come to pass, in Jesus' name, Amen!

Financial Confession

ather, in the Name of Jesus I confess Your will over my finances this day, that I have given the tithes of my increase and I claim the windows of heaven blessings for my life. Thank You Father, my mind is alert and I hear Your voice and the voice of the stranger I will not follow. Thank You, I receive now doors of opportunity open for me and my family. Father, I have given to the poor, therefore, I will never lack. I will always have all sufficiency in all things as you are raising up others to use their power, their ability and their influence to help me. I expect daily, Father, for the Spirit of God to speak to men and women concerning giving to me, and in the name of Jesus those to whom the Spirit of God has designated are free to obey and give to me good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. In Jesus' Name, I believe every need is met with heaven's best. I have given for the support of the work of God and those who teach His Word. You promised that You would supply all my need according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. So, I thank You Father, I live the best and enjoy the best in every area of my life. Father, Your Word said I can decree a thing because of my covenant vow with You for the kingdom of God in the earth. Now this is my decree (whatever that particular decree is) and I thank You for wisdom and insight to bring it to pass. You give me and my family richly all things to enjoy. Now, Satan, I bind your activity in my life and I loose the angels, the ministering

spirits of God to minister for me and bring in the necessary finances so that I may continue to finance the kingdom of God. Father, Your Word declares that my giving increases the fruits of my righteousness. I thank You Father, I have the abundance of peace, the abundance of joy, the abundance of patience, the abundance of temperance and the abundance of goodness. The maximum return on my giving is mine because I give to promote the Name of Jesus and the gospel in the earth. In Jesus' name, Amen. What happens when I confess the Word? • • •

Because You are in us, we acknowledge that love reigns supreme. We believe that love is displayed in full expression enfolding and knitting us together in truth, making us perfect for every good work to do Your will, working in us that which is pleasing in Your sight. We commit ourselves to live in mutual harmony and accord with one another delighting in each other, being of the same mind and united in spirit. Father, we believe and say that we are gentle, compassionate, courteous, tender hearted, and humbleminded. We seek peace, and it keeps our hearts in quietness and assurance. Our marriage grows stronger day by day in the bond of unity because it is founded on Your Word and rooted and grounded in Your love. We decree this day, we have a

Healing For Damaged Emotions
F
ather, in the Name of Jesus, I come boldly to Your throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in this time need. I admit I have felt shame and emotional hurt. I confess my transgression to You [continually unfolding the past till all is told]. You are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. You are my hiding place and You, Lord, preserve me from trouble. You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. I have chosen life and according to Your Word You saw me while I was being formed in Mother's womb and on the authority of Your Word I was wonderfully made. Now, I am Your handiwork, recreated in Christ Jesus. Father, You have delivered me from the spirit of fear and I shall not be ashamed. Neither shall I be confounded and depressed. You gave me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that I might be a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that You might be glorified. I speak
173
out in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with my voice and making melody with all my heart to the Lord. Just as David did in 1 Samuel 30:6, I encourage myself in the Lord. I believe in God Who raised Jesus from the dead, Who was betrayed and put to death because of my misdeeds and was raised to secure my acquittal, absolving me from all guilt before God. Father, You anointed Jesus and sent Him to bind up and heal my broken heart, and liberate me from the shame of my youth and the imperfections of my caretakers. In the Name of Jesus, I choose to forgive all those who have wronged me in any way. You will not leave me without support as I complete the forgiveness process. I take comfort and I am encouraged and confidently say, "The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm. What can man do to me?" My spirit is the candle of the Lord searching all the innermost parts of my being and the Holy Spirit leads me into all truth. When reality exposes shame and emotional pain, I remember that the sufferings of this present time are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to me and in me and for me and conferred on me! The chastisement needful to obtain my peace and well being was upon Jesus, and with the stripes that wounded Him I was healed and made whole. As Your child, Father, I have a joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. This hope will never disappoint, delude or shame me, for God's love has been poured out

in my heart through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to me. In His Name I pray, amen.

Health and Healing
F
ather, in the Name of Jesus, I confess Your Word concerning healing. As I do this, I believe and say that Your Word will not return to You void, but will accomplish what it says it will. Therefore, I believe in the Name of Jesus that I am healed, according to 1 Peter 2:24. It is written in Your word that Jesus himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Therefore, with great boldness and confidence I say on the authority of that written Word that I am redeemed from the curse of sickness, and I refuse to tolerate its symptoms. Satan, I speak to you in the Name of Jesus and say that your principalities, powers, your spirits who rule the present darkness and your spiritual wickedness in heavenly places are bound from operating against me in any way. I am the property of Almighty God, and I give you no place in me. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God. I abide, remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, whose power no foe can withstand. Now, Father, because I reverence and worship You, I have the assurance of Your word that the angel of the

Lord encamps around about me and delivers me from every evil work. No evil shall befall me, no plague or calamity shall come near my dwelling. I confess the Word of God abides in me and delivers to me perfect soundness of mind and wholeness in body and spirit from the deepest parts of my nature in my immortal spirit even to the joints and marrow of my bones. That Word is medication and life to my flesh for the law of the Spirit of life operates in me and makes me free from the law of sin and death. I have on the whole armour of God, and the shield of faith protects me from all the fiery darts of the wicked. Jesus is the High Priest of my confession, and I hold fast to my confession of faith in Your Word. I stand immovable and fixed in full assurance that I have health and healing now in the Name of Jesus. Amen. Once this has been prayed, thank the Father that Satan is bound and continue to confess this healing and thank God for it.

Letting Go of the Past
F
ather, I realize my helplessness in saving myself, and I glory in what Christ Jesus has done for me. I let go - put aside all past sources of my confidence - counting them worth less than nothing, in order that I may experience Christ and become one with Him. Lord, I have received Your Son, and He has given me the authority (power, privilege, and right) to become Your child. I unfold my past and put into proper perspective those things that are behind. I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me. I trust in You, Lord, with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge You, and You will make my paths straight. I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. So, whatever it takes, I will be one who lives in the fresh newness of life of those who are alive from the dead. I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: regardless of my past I look forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize

for which You are calling me up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for me. In His name I pray, amen.

Prayer for Husbands to Confess
F
ather, in the Name of Jesus, I take Your Word and confess this day that I hearken to Your wisdom. My wife and I dwell securely in confident trust, and we are without fear or dread of evil. I make my ears attentive to skilful and godly wisdom, inclining and directing my heart and mind to understanding. I apply all of my power to the quest of wisdom and understanding. I let not mercy, kindness and truth forsake me. I bind them about my neck and write them on the tablet of my heart. I prize the wisdom of God highly and exalt her. She will exalt and promote me, bringing me honour because I embrace her. For You, Lord, are my confidence, firm and strong, and You keep my foot from being caught in a trap or hidden danger. Where I go, the Word of God shall lead me. When I sleep, it shall keep me. When I awaken, it shall talk to me. Therefore, I will speak excellent and princely things, and the opening of my lips shall be for right things. All the words of my mouth are righteous - upright and in right standing with God - and there is nothing contrary to truth or crooked in them. I live considerately with my wife, with an intelligent recognition of our marriage relationship. I honour my wife as physically the weaker. However, I realize that we are joint-heirs to the throne with Jesus spiritually. I do

this in order that our prayers will not be hindered or cut off. I confess that my wife and I are of one and the same mind, united in spirit, compassionate and courteous, tender-hearted and humble minded. I believe for our welfare, happiness, and protection, because we love and respect each other. Father, thank You that we are a couple of good report, that we are successful in everything we set our hands to. We are uncompromisingly righteous. We capture human lives for You as fishers of men. As we do this, we are confident that You are the Lord God Who teaches us to profit and leads us in the way we should go. We are abundantly supplied, with every need met, in the Name of Jesus. We have obtained the favour of the Lord, and the will of God is done in our lives and in our children's lives.

Victorious Confessions for the Virtuous Woman
F
ather, I thank You that I am renewed in the spirit of my mind as I wait only upon You; for my hope and expectation are from You. I daily receive the manifestation of Your Word in my life and I thank You Father that You have begun a good work in me, and You will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. I am a capable, intelligent, virtuous woman. I live the overcoming life. I live in daily expectation of abundance for my life. Every need in my life is met. I have a sound mind. I live a long life because I am redeemed from the curse of the law. I walk in divine health and healing is my covenant right. I live a life of purpose and fulfilment; I am a blessing to the kingdom of God. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

To Walk in Forgiveness
F
ather, in the Name of Jesus, I make a fresh commitment to You to live in peace and harmony, not only with the other brothers and sisters of the Body of Christ, but also with my friends, associates, neighbours, and family. I let go of all bitterness, resentment, envying, strife, and unkindness in any form. I give no place to the devil in Jesus' Name. Now Father, I ask Your forgiveness. By faith, I receive it, having assurance that I am cleansed from all unrighteousness through Jesus Christ. I ask You to forgive and release all who have wronged and hurt me. I forgive and release them. Deal with them in your mercy and loving-kindness. From this moment on, I purpose to walk in love, to seek peace, to live in agreement, and to conduct myself toward others in a manner that is pleasing to You. I know that I have right standing with you and Your ears are attentive to my prayers. It is written in Your Word that the love of God has been poured forth into my heart by the Holy Ghost Who is given to me. I believe that love flows forth into the lives of everyone I know, that I may be filled with and abound

in the fruits of righteousness which bring glory and honour unto You, Lord, in Jesus' Name. So be it! Amen.

Wisdom and Guidance

Confession - The Words of My Mouth
F
ather, in the Name of Jesus, I thank you that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, and because I am a new creature, I will speak of excellent things, and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; and there is nothing forward or perverse in them. They are plain to him that understandeth and right to them that find knowledge. My lips feed many because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. My tongue is as choice silver, and my mouth bringeth forth wisdom because I am the just. My lips know what is acceptable and my lips shall establish truth forever. I am a delight to the Lord, for I deal truly. My lips shall preserve me and I use knowledge aright because I am wise. Wisdom is found in my lips because I have understanding. I have a wholesome tongue and it is a tree of life. Pleasant words are always in my mouth, because they are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to my bones. My words are as deep waters and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. God has given me wisdom and out of my mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. My mouth is a well of life. Death and life are in the power of my tongue, and I choose life.
195
Therefore, I will not let any corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth. I will not speak evil of any man. My thoughts are right because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, and lovely and of good report. I have been transformed by the renewing of my mind with the Word of God because I have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God. I am an imitator of Jesus.

DebtDebt-Free Confession
W
e, the body of Believers of Living Word Christian Center, declare we have been carved out for an end-time expression of El Shaddai, the God of abundance and no lack. We are taught how to live independent of this world system and how to have dominion over it, therefore, in Jesus’ name, we declare we are debt-free! The spirit of debt is destroyed over our lives and over this local church because of the anointing. We are the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail. We are blessed coming in and blessed going out. The Father daily loads us with benefits and causes His blessings to overtake us. Wealth and riches are in our house and we increase more and more. God has given us power to get wealth to establish His kingdom here in the earth and millions are now hearing the gospel and receiving Jesus as Lord. We are plenteous in goods, for God has given us richly all things to enjoy. The blessing of the Lord has made us rich, adding no sorrow with it. We are joint heirs with Jesus Christ and Abraham’s blessings belong to us. We are Holy Millionaires and we walk in God’s wisdom, exercising sound judgment and stewardship over this wealth. We sow bountifully, therefore, we reap bountifully. We give and it is given unto us good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. We have the wealth of the wicked and we owe no man anything, but love! The devourer is rebuked for our sakes and he cannot destroy the fruits of
197
our ground. All these promises are ours by faith and faith works by love, so we constantly walk in the light, in love, in the Word and the wicked one touches us not. Our hearts are fixed, trusting in the Lord. We hold fast to our confession of faith. We are "THE DEBT-FREE REDEEMED OF THE LORD" and we say so, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

PRAYER OF SALVATION 199

Prayer of Salvation and Baptism in the Holy Spirit
I
f you do not know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, simply pray the following prayer in faith, and Jesus will be your Lord!
“Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, ‘Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10: ‘If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.’ I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. “I am now reborn! I am a Christian—a child of Almighty God! I am saved! You also said in Your Word, ‘If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: HOW MUCH MORE shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?’ (Luke 11:13). I’m also asking You to fill me with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, rise up within me as I praise God. I fully expect to speak with other tongues as You give me the utterance (Acts 2:4). In Jesus’ Name. Amen!”
201
Begin to praise God for filling you with the Holy Spirit. Speak those words and syllables you receive—not in your own language, but the language given to you by the Holy Spirit. You have to use your own voice. God will not force you to speak. Don’t be concerned with how it sounds. It is a heavenly language! Continue with the blessing God has given you and pray in tongues each day. You are a born-again, Spirit-filled believer. You’ll never be the same! If you have just prayed this prayer, please contact us and let us know of your decision. We have a free Salvation Package we would like to send you to help you begin your new life in Jesus! Prayer of Confession You can make sure that you are right with God by turning to Him and praying this prayer: “God, I am a sinner in need of a Saviour. I REPENT, REPENT and I ask you to forgive me of all my sin. “I BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is your Son that He shed His blood so I might be forgiven, that He rose again from the dead, and He is coming back again. “I CONFESS Him now as my Saviour. I will live for you as you show me how. Amen.” By believing in Jesus Christ and receiving Him as your Saviour, you will turn your life in a new direction. You can be at peace with God knowing you will live forever with Him with A Favour Flavoured Dream.

My Prayer For YOU Deuteronomy 28:128:1-14 I pray that If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
215
The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you. The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them. AMEN!

Reading Of A Prophetic Word That Was Spoken By Brother Kenneth Copeland:
T
he manifestation of the blessing, saith the Lord, is at an all-time high.
