his book and patterns were designed by myself, Elizabeth Lipanovich. I am currently a Junior at Purdue University studying Visual Communications Design. All of the patterns are original designs that either consist of type, geometric shapes, or both. They were first designed using the gray scale then later a color palette was added. The products that showcase the patterns are made online through Zazzle.com.

G

is a great letter to make a pattern with. I successfully kept the original form of the letter and used it to create a geometric shape by overlapping and rotating. When paired with this cool color palette and the size variation, the pattern gives off a bubble effect which brings the viewers eye all around the design.
