Il progetto“VALMORI CERAMICA DESIGN” è una realtà che nasce grazie ad anni di esperienza sul campo che ha permesso al suo ideatore, Denis Valmori, di diventare un fine conoscitore dei materiali, delle tecniche, delle forme, delle metodologie di realizzazione e di tutto quel bagaglio di conoscenza strettamente necessarie alla creazione di piastrelle ceramiche; dove la ceramica non è vissuta nel suo normale intendimento e confinata a se stessa, ma bensì, tramite a sua bellezza ha la presunzione di imporsi di diritto al centro della scena. L’ Arte della ceramica artigianale e tradizionale è stata rivisitata in chiave contemporanea, di design, adattandola alle esigenze del nostro tempo, dove il dettaglio è curato in maniera maniacale al fine di raggiungere il nostro obiettivo: “THESE TILES WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE”. Un modus operandi e una filosofia visiva, pratica e teorica che si sposa perfettamente con il progetto “VALMORI CERAMICA DESIGN”: leggere la ceramica in un nuovo modo ed elevarla ad elemento essenziale dell’estetica della casa.

The project “VALMORI CERAMICA DESIGN” is a reality brought to life thanks to years of experience on the field that have permitted its creator, Denis Valmori, to become a fine connoisseur of materials, techniques, forms and methods of realisation, in brief, all of that knowledge, strictly necessary for creation of ceramic tiles; where ceramics is intended not only “as itself”; but as an element that through its beauty, claims the right to be at the centre of the scene. The art of ceramics, artisan and traditional, viewed in a contemporary light of design and adapted to suit the needs of our times. Where only single detail is attended to, bordering to obsession, to meet our goal: “THESE TILES WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE”. A modus operandi and a visible philosophy, practical and theoretic, that merges perfectly with the project “VALMORI CERAMICA DESIGN”: reading ceramics in a new way and promoting its essential element of the aesthetics of the home.

The lightness of cotton, and the possibility to form and deform it depending of the intensity of our hand on this cloth, has inspired us in the aesthetic characters of this project: COTTON. In the version “plain”, white coloured, a matt surface is alternated with a shiny surface. In the version “waved” every centimetre of surface, ever different, alters irregular strokes, almost inflated, with others slimmer, changing again, never definitely and ever causal. The different mouldings, as in our project, makes every tile apparently unique, individual, guaranteeing a movement of surfaces original and never static... Playing with colours, using vivid tones, but also the possibility of using softer shades, in various finishing, integrating perfectly with the surroundings. Double firing line, white body, wall tile. Produced using selected raw materials and exquisite glazes, bringing the colours of this collection to life and never granted. Thickness of the tile 9mm (0,35"), with a plain surface, in size 7,5x15 - 3"x6", white, available in a glossy or matt finish; also in a structured version (waved), with 5 different mouldings mixed in the boxes. “WAVED” finishing, available in 4 main sizes: 7,5x15 (3”x6”) ; 7,5x30 (3”x12”); 13,2x40 (5”x16”) and,finally,in 6,5x40 (2,56”x16”) .

La leggerezza del cotone, e la possibilità di formarlo e deformarlo a seconda dell’intensità della nostra mano su questo tessuto, ci ha ispirato nelle caratteristiche estetiche di questo progetto: COTTON. Nella versione “plain”, il colore bianco alterna una superficie opaca e una superficie lucida. Nella versione “waved” ogni cm di superficie è diverso e alterna tratti irregolari, quasi rigonfi, ad altri più snelli, per poi cambiare di nuovo, in modo mai definito e sempre casuale. Questa sua volubilità di superfici, anche nel nostro progetto rende ogni piastrella apparentemente unica, a sé stante, garantendo un movimento di superfici originale e mai statico. Giochi di cromie attraverso colori accesi, con la possibilità di utilizzare colori più soft, in diverse finiture che vanno perfettamente ad integrarsi con lo spazio che le circonda Linea in bicottura, pasta bianca, da rivestimento. Formata da materie prime selezionate e da smalti pregiati, che rendono i colori di questa collezione vivi e mai scontati. Corpo della piastrella spessorato (9mm), con una superficie piana nel formato 7,5x15 bianco, disponibile sia nella finitura lucida che in quella opaca; e nella versione strutturata (waved) con 5 diverse tipologie di struttura intersecate e miscelate già negli imballi. Superficie “WAVED” disponibile in 4 formati principali: 7,5x15 (3”x6”) ; 7,5x30 (3”x12”); 13,2x40 (5”x16”) e, infine, 6,5x40 (2,56”x16”) in diversi colori declinati.

Il decoro FLOW è realizzato da sapienti maestri artigiani con applicazione manuale in serigrafia di vetrose brillanti che catturano l’attenzione attraverso magici giochi di luce. Disponibile in 6 varianti colore. Il connubio tra la grafica d’ impronta barocca e le tinte luminose dalle superfici irregolari, attualizza il prodotto rendendolo perfettamente in linea con le tendenze del design contemporaneo. La posa in opera deve essere eseguita prestando particolare attenzione alla stuccatura ed avendo cura di rimuovere i residui in eccesso ancora freschi. Per la pulizia quotidiana si raccomanda l’uso di detergenti neutri.

The decoration FLOW is realized by ceramic artisan masters with manual applications of vitreous shining glazes that catch the attention through charming/ fascinating play of lights. Available in the 6 colors of the relevant plain tiles. The match between the baroque look and the brillant irregular surfaces of the tiles, make the decoration really modern in the stream of the actual design tendencies. The tile‘s fixing must be performed taking particular care of the grouting and removing grout’s rests when they’re still fresh. For maintenance cleaning we recommend neutral detergents.

AVVERTENZE PER LA POSA Tutti i prodotti “Valmori Ceramica Design Srl” sono da considerarsi di altissima qualità; per poterli posare al meglio e senza incorrere in spiacevoli inconvenienti, Vi consigliamo di seguire alcune piccole regole di base che riportiamo qui di seguito. Innanzitutto, questi materiali, essendo prodotti ceramici, potrebbero presentare varianti cromatiche nei singoli pezzi. Il prodotto poi, puo’ differire dal campione, in quanto il campione stesso è indicativo. Si consiglia di controllare il materiale prima della posa e di miscelare varie scatole prima della messa in opera. Assicurarsi sempre che la superficie su cui andranno posati i prodotti si presenti asciutta, priva di polveri, grassi, cere e sia dura. Inoltre consigliamo di verificare che tale superficie non presenti pericoli di risalita di umidità. ATTENZIONE: Non si accettano contestazioni postume per il materiale già posato. Questi prodotti possono essere posati sia secondo il metodo tradizionale (malta cementizia) sia con collanti; anche se noi consigliamo una posa con collanti, in quanto si riesce ad ottenere una maggiore aderenza tra il sottofondo e la piastrella. Si raccomanda di effettuare la stuccatura delle fughe solo dopo un certo tempo dalla posa del materiale cosi’ da permettere una perfetta adesione fra la piastrella e il sottofondo. Fuga consigliata: almeno 2 mm (sulle serie Cotton e Rewoodlution) e di 4 mm (sulle serie: Le Crete Classic, Cementine e Konzept). Sono assolutamente sconsigliate le pose senza fuga (e in generale con fuga minore di quella da noi consigliata) per le quali si declina ogni responsabilita’. Non è sufficiente lavare il pavimento con sola acqua ed è assolutamente vietato l’utilizzo di sostanze quali nafta, aceto, etc.. occorre procedere ad una pulizia con detergenti a base acida specifici per rimuovere i residui calcarei di boiacca e di stucchi che catalizzano lo sporco. La situazione ideale dopo una prima pulizia di sgrassatura è di attendere il consolidamento degli stucchi e utilizzare i detergenti specifici. Per la manutenzione ordinaria, non occorrono operazioni particolari se non l’uso di acqua e di detergenti neutri. LAYING INSTRUCTIONS All “Valmori Ceramica Design Srl” products are to be considered high quality products; to lay them with the best result, without any unpleasant inconvenient, please note the following basic indications. First of all, these materials, being ceramic products, could present shade variations in the single piece. Further, the product could differ from the showroom sample, being the shade just indicative. Please check the material before laying, mixing pieces from various boxes before starting the job. Always assure that the surface to be tiled is solid, dry, and free from dust, fats and waxes. We further recommend to be sure that the surface does not present indications of moisture. ATTENTION: Claims for layed material will not be accepted. These products can be fixed using the traditional method (cement) or using adhesives; though we recommend the use of adhesives, to assure a better grip of the tile to the surface. We recommend grouting the joints only some time after laying to allow a perfect grip of the tiles to the surface. Recommended joint: at least 2 mm (for the Cotton and Rewoodlution lines) and 4 mm (for the lines Crete Classic, Cementine and Konzept). It's forbidden to lay our tiles without joints (and generally with joints thinner than recommended) and we do not assume any responsibility for doing so. After laying it is not enough to clean the tiled surface with mere water and it is absolutely forbidden to use substances such as naphtha, vinegar etc. It is necessary to clean using acid-based detergent to remove lime deposits and stucco. The ideal procedure is to do a first cleaning to remove fats, waiting that grout dries, after that use specific detergents. For ordinary maintenance no special procedures are required, just use water and neutral detergents.

Il fatto a mano, anche chiamato “handmade” come nell’antichità gli artigiani e gli artisti che lavoravano questa tipologia di materiale, insieme alle argille, “a mano” e “a caldo”, donavano all’oggetto lavorato la forma con il semplice tocco delle dita e la pressione delle mani. Movimenti e strutture che assecondavano la manualità di questi artisti e che regalavano un prodotto semplice, ma esclusivo, dove ogni pezzo era diverso l’uno dall’altro. Da questa filosofia nascono LE CRETE. Linea da pavimento e da rivestimento in porcellanato smaltato (nel colore bianco) e a massa colorata (negli altri colori). Grazie proprio all’utilizzo di speciali materiali, tramite una profonda selezione delle materie prime e speciali tecnologie, come la pressatura a freddo del prodotto, si ottengono delle piastrelle aventi una superficie con un effetto “fatto a mano” profondo, irregolare, ma sempre ben calibrato che rende il prodotto di una eleganza artigianale estrema. Ricercatezza nei formati, mai scontati. Da qui la nostra scelta di formati “alternativi”: piccole (17,5x20) e grandi (39x45) Esagoni. Ottagoni (20x20 con relativi tozzetti) e piastrelle “plain” nel formato 20x20 (Quadro). Tozzetti “plain” e tozzetti decorati da alternare per ottenere un effetto di profondita’ e di mix di stili unici. Per impreziosire il tutto una decorazione sull’esagono grande (39x45) unico nel suo genere: trattasi di un “pattern” damascato (oro su fondo nero e argentato su fondo bianco) protetto da una resina speciale vetrificata che (caso eccezionale) rende questo decoro (solo per ambientazioni private) fruibile anche da pavimento (e, ovviamente) da rivestimento. OGNI PEZZO FATTO A MANO!

Handcraft, or “handmade” as in past times when artisans and artists worked these types of materials together with clay using their bare hands “by hand” and “warmed”, giving the object its form with the simple touch of the fingers and the pressure of the hands. Movements and structures depending of the skills of these artists, producing a simple yet exclusive product, each piece different from the others. From this philosophy springs LE CRETE. A line of floor and wall tiles in glazed porcelain (in white) and with coloured body (in the other colours). Thanks to the use of special materials, result of an accurate selection of raw materials and special technologies, as cold pressing the product, tiles are obtained with a surface apparently handmade, irregular, but ever calibrated, giving the product a touch of extreme artisan elegance. Exquisite sizes, never granted. In fact we offer a selection of “alternative” sizes: small (17,5x20 - 6,88”x7,87”) and large (39x45 - 15,35”x17,71”) Hexagon. Octagonal (20x20 - 7,87”x7,87” with relevant dots) and plain tiles in size 20x20 - 7,87”x7,87” (Square). Plain dots and decorated dots are layed to obtain an effect of depth and a mix of unique stiles. To further promote a large hexagon decoration (39x45 - 15,35”x17,71”) unique in its kind, we suggest a damask pattern (gold on a black background and silver on a white background) protected by a special glass-like covering (exceptional solution) making it suitable only in the case of private homes as floor tiles and, obviously as wall tiles. Vorgeschlagene Fugenbreite: mindestens 2 mm für die Serie Cotton und 4 mm für die Serien Le Crete und Cementine. Es werden keine Beanstandungen für Fliesen akzeptiert, die ohne Fuge oder mit geringer Fuge als vorgeschlagen verlegt werden. Die Erstreinigung nach der Fliesenverlegung kann nicht nur mit klarem Wasser erfolgen. Um Zementschleier und Verfugmaterialien zu entfernen, muss die Reinigung durch saure Spezialreiniger erfolgen. Die Verwendung von Dieselöl, Essig, usw ist streng verboten. Nach der ersten Grundreinigung auf die Stuckverhärtung bitte warten, danach für die Unterhaltsreinigung der Fliesen zur Entfernung der alltäglicher Verschmutzung immer geeignete Reinigungsmittel verwenden (Wasser und Neutralreiniger sind empfohlen).

Non è sufficiente lavare il pavimento con sola acqua ed è assolutamente vietato l’utilizzo di sostanze quali nafta, aceto, etc.. occorre procedere ad una pulizia con detergenti a base acida specifici per rimuovere i residui calcarei di boiacca e di TOZZETTO 4,5x4,5 stucchi che catalizzano 60 lo sporco. La situazione ideale dopo 2,50 una prima pulizia di sgrassatura è di attendere il consolidamento degli PLAIN stucchi e utilizzare i detergenti specifici. Class 5 Stain Recistance HINWEISE ZUR VERLEGUNG Alle Produkte der Fa. Valmori Ceramica Design sind von höchster Qualität. Für DIN 51130 R 10 eine reibungslose Fliesenverlegung, bitte folgende COEFFICIENTE D’ATTRITO (asciutto) Verlegehinweise beachten. Coefficient of friction (dry) Diese Fliesen sind aus Keramik und können Farbenabweichungen in den einzelnen Stücken zeigen. Die Farben der Musterfliesen ASTm C-1028 COEFFICIENTE D’ATTRITO (asciutto) sind immerofals hinweisend zu betrachten, die Lieferung kann einen verschiedenen Farbton zeigen. Das Material muss vor dem Coefficient friction (dry) Verfliesen geprüft werden. Bei der Verlegung, Fliesen aus verschiedenen Kartons bitte immer mischen. Vor der Verlegung muss A1 EN 13501 REAzIONE Al FUOCO (96/603/ce modifiche) der Untergrund absolut hart, etrocken, staub-, fett- und wachsfrei sein. Achtung: Für bereits verlegtes Material werden keine Rekla(REV. 2005) Fire Reaction (96/603/ce as amended) mationen akzeptiert. Die Produkte können entweder mit Zementmörtel oder mit Kleber verlegt werden. Für ein optimales Haften DUREzzA INan SCAlA der Fliesen demmOhS Untergrund schlagen wir eine Kleberverlegung vor. Es ist zu empfehlen, die Fugenverkittung eine gewisse Zeit Valore medio 6 UNI EN 101 Mohs Scale Hardness Average value 6haften. Vorgeschlagene Fugenbreite: minnach der Verlegung zu erfolgen, erst wenn die Fliesen an dem Untergrund schon perfekt destens 2 mm für die Serie Cotton und 4 mm für die Serien Le Crete und Cementine. Es werden keine Beanstandungen für Fliesen akzeptiert, die ohne Fuge oder mit geringer Fuge als vorgeschlagen verlegt werden. Die Erstreinigung nach der Fliesenverlegung kann nicht nur mit klarem Wasser erfolgen. Um Zementschleier und Verfugmaterialien zu entfernen, muss die Reinigung durch saure Spezialreiniger erfolgen. Die Verwendung von Dieselöl, Essig, usw ist streng verboten. Nach der ersten Grundreinigung auf die Stuckverhärtung bitte warten, danach für die Unterhaltsreinigung der Fliesen zur Entfernung der alltäglicher Verschmutzung immer geeignete Reinigungsmittel verwenden (Wasser und Neutralreiniger sind empfohlen).

REVVOODLUTION Vera e propria rivisitazione da parte nostra del porcellanato, ispirato al legno. Toni caldi e freddi che si diramano poi in giochi di colori; ottenuti da vere e proprie “pennellate”, che danno luogo ad atmosfere eleganti e sobrie (con il solo uso dei colori “base”); ma anche, grazie alla speciale texture delle colorazioni (DecoAffreschi 20x80 - 7,8”x31,4”), anche per ambienti allegri e mai noiosi.. Il decoro “Deco-Structura”, nel formato 13x80 - 5,1”x31,4”, si presta perfettamente all’uso in ambienti raffinati e sopraffini anche accompagnato (o miscelato) alla “versione base”. Due formati principali rettificati: 20x80 e 13x80(7,8”x31,4”5,1”x31,4”); conditi da altri formati ottenuti da taglio, quali: 20x80 e 13x80 (7,8”x31,4”-5,1”x31,4”)a “lisca di pesce” (formato romboide) e 20x20 e 13x13 (7,8”x7,8”-5,1”x5,1”). Fuga suggerita: 2mm! Spessore piastrella: 10mm. Grazie allo speciale trattamento (PEI V e PEI IV, decori compresi..) il prodotto si presta perfettamente, oltre all’uso “privato” anche all’uso “commerciale (leggero)”. Raccomandazioni speciali. Spessore piastrella: 9mm Nella nuova collezione “Structura” di Valmori Ceramica Design, viene utilizzato un gres porcellanato estruso; ottenuto artigianalmente, per trafila. Proprio per questa sue particolarità, il prodotto deve essere trattato in fase di posa, con la massima professionalità, possibilmente affidandosi alle sapienti mani di posatori già abituati alla posa di questa tipologia di materiale; e, comunque, in generale adeguado la fuga all’irregolarità dei bordi della piastrella. Irregolarità di dimensioni, variazioni di calibro e stonalizzazione del prodotto, sono parte integrante dell’artigianalità di questa collezione. Per avere un effetto estetico perfetto, “Valmori Ceramica Design” consiglia la posa del materiale senza l’utilizzo di distanziali e con fughe del medesimo colore delle piastrelle (tono su tono). E’ necessario per ottenere le caratteristiche estetiche ottimali, nella fase post-posa, procedere immediatamente alla detergenza della pavimentazione con detergenti adeguati alla completa rimozione di residui di stucco. Special Recommendations (read carefully, before the laying): Thickness: 9mm The new “Structura” collection, is a porcelain stoneware obtained by extrusion, the same handecraft process used for ages in terracotta productions. Due to these characteristics,it is suggested to have experienced installers aware of the fact that structure is like a hand made product, with all it’s typical irregularities, mainly no caliber and shading variation, signs of a non industrial made product. To get the perfect aesthetic effect, “Valmori Ceramic Design” recommends layng the material without spacers and possibly with the same matching color grout.

Pietre naturali che, nell’ambiente in cui vengono installate, creano un atmosfera lussuosa ed elegante, senza tempo. Spazi lussuosi che vanno creare ambientazioni di classe sopraffina..
