BROCHURE OVERVIEW:
Scuba diving is a niche adventurous tourism market, when the participants are connected with the nature and gaining very exciting experience, totally different from other types of adventure tourism.
Recreational scuba diving offers many opportunities to satisfy the savvy travel customer and many travel agents are attracting the tourists to this niche tourism to invite more of them into the destination.
According to the DEMA, the Diving Equipment and Marketing Association (cited in Travelworldnews.com, 2009), the people aged between 38 – 56 years and from higher social categories are the most common and popular target market in this activity.
Nevertheless, it is not excluded that scuba diving cannot be done by ordinary people, even families with children, during their holidays.
Every diving operator can provide its own full equipment and qualified and certified divers.

RHODES Rhodes Greece is the largest and most popular island of Dodecanese. With 300 days of sunshine per year, Rhodes island is mostly famous for the romantic Old Town and the amazing beach resorts. The Old Town is among the best-preserved Medieval Towns of Europe, with strong walls, an impressive castle, paved paths, and elegant stone mansions. A drive around the island will bring you to magnificent beaches, impressive sightseeing, and picturesque villages. A lovely place is Lindos village with the Acropolis on top. The most tourist places are located close to Town, but you can also find many secluded places for total privacy around the island.
CRETE Crete is the largest Greek island of Greece, located in the southern side of the Aegean Sea. One of the most popular destinations of the country, holidays in Crete is the dream of a lifetime for millions of tourists. However, despite the tourist development in some places, Crete Greece also keeps intact its unique character. Its long history has left evident marks on the Greek island: Minoan palaces, Venetian towns, Medieval Castles, Ottoman mosques and Byzantine monasteries constitute the most important sightseeing. And of course, the most distinctive characteristic is the beaches. 4
DAY 1 - night flight from Birmingham to Rhodes, transfer to the four stars hotel Mediterranean on the Elli Beach (arrival before midnight) - after breakfast in the hotel, it will be provided the first diving experience by Trident Diving School; this company offers programs which are suitable as for beginners as for experienced divers, and for snorkelers in the area of the Kalithea Bay; all equipment you will need is secured by the company - lunch will be on the boat, consisting of the Mediterranean and continental cuisine - back journey to the hotel will be in the late afternoon; then free time and dinner in the hotel

DAY 2
- the second day, after breakfast, you will go to the airport and from there, will fly directly to Crete; accommodation in Marin Dream Hotel, in Heraklion - after check-in, you will have some time for having light lunch before the transport to a near resort, Agios Nicolaos, to have another diving experience in cooperation with Pelagos Dive Centre; a possibility to see reefs, caverns, rocky slopes and numerous species of the Mediterranean marine life - then transporting back to Heraklion, having dinner, free time

DAY 3
- next day, you will join diving with experienced divers of Scubakreta diving centre, operating in Hersonissos; the dive will be held 12 minutes from the coast, it is a wall, named St. George's, creating two caves at 8 and 13m depth - return to the hotel to collect your belongings and go by a coach to Kalipso resort on the south side of the island where the participants will be accommodated in Kalypso Cretan Village Resort & Spa 4-star hotel, with dinner and breakfast next day - for those of you who will be interested in, there will be an opportunity to try night diving in close Kalypso Dive Centre & School after sunset; it is a unique experience and possibility to see species that come alive at that time

DAY 4
- on the last day, during the afternoon, the program will be based on your own choice, you can visit the spa in the hotel, go to the beach, walk around or come back to the diving centre and go snorkelling (diving is not recommended because of the flight at the same day) - after lunch time, there will be waiting a coach to take you to the airport in Heraklion, from where will be your flight back to Birmingham
