Responsibilities included working with the lead designer and programmer from Ewing Cole, through a series of interviews and reviews with the end user, to determine functional and experiential relationships in the development of floor plans and elevations. Other responsibilities included participation in technical meetings with the German AE; interdisciplinary coordination; managing Revit models; and producing presentation drawings and 3D views. SOF Brigade Headquarters Facility Ft. Bragg, NC Project Manager | Project Architect The Onyx Group: 2012–2014 $16.4M 61,000SF Design/Build two-story brick headquarters building for the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade, designed to LEED Silver standards. Responsible for management of AE team; technical coordination; and development of CDs. Conducted design meetings with the client and managed review comments within ProjNet. Designed and detailed the monumental stair, as well as collaborated with the Interior Designer to create a complementary reception desk. SOF Training Support Facility JSOC Ft. Bragg, NC Project Manager | Project Architect The Onyx Group: 2012–2013 $1.95M 5,220SF Pre-engineered metal building including a SCIF Classroom/Auditorium with support spaces designed to LEED Silver standards. Responsibilities covered management of Architecture/ Interiors team and Revit model; developing and coordinating construction documents; and attending design review meetings. Auto Hobby Shop Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Air Force Base, NJ Project Manager | Project Architect The Onyx Group: 2011–2014 $3.5M 10,000SF LEED Silver renovation and repair of a one-story brick/CMU Auto Hobby Shop. Responsible for managing AE team; conducting design review meetings; surveying and site visits; development of construction documents; and BIM management. SOF Joint Intelligence Brigade & SOF C4 Facility JSOC Ft. Bragg, NC Designer | BIM Manager The Onyx Group: 2009–2011 $30M 102,000SF & $36M 90,000SF three-story steel and concrete facilities designed to LEED Silver. Programs consisted of training, classroom, office, and server/communications SCIF spaces. BIM manager responsibilities included maintaining files; training and producing procedural guides; and creating families. Designed patterned exterior concrete panels and produced CDs. Changsha Xinhe Delta Mixed-Use Development Changsha, China Design Staff RTKL: 2009 Winning design entry for six million SF of retail, residential, hotel, and office spaces for a new riverfront development. Worked with team to develop conceptual master plan and building design in Sketch-up; produced presentation materials including rendered views in Photoshop and diagrams in Illustrator; as well as individually designed 50LF of presentation boards in Adobe CS. North Star Showroom Concept Design Changsha, China Design Staff RTKL: 2008 27,000SF of office, exhibition, and public spaces for the first phase of a mixed-use development. Responsible for creating presentation graphics, including competition boards. Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center Woodbridge, VA Design Staff | Project BIM Coordinator RTKL: 2008–2009 500,000SF Retail Center. Tasks consisted of designing store facades; detailing and producing construction documents; and serving as Project BIM coordinator. Responsible for maintaining Revit files, resolving issues, and implementing firm standards. Organized Revit training sessions for team members, as well as created program usage references and procedural guides. T.Rowe Price Corporate Campus, Phase 3 Owings Mills, MD Design Staff | Project BIM Coordinator RTKL: 2007–2008 400,000SF of office space in two four-story steel and brick office buildings with adjacent parking garages.
