WELCOME to the new SWN Campus
2 | Welcome Guide
Dear employees, colleagues, and neighbors: This is an exciting time for Southwestern Energy – a moment in our history that focuses us on the future of our company. Moving to our new campus will be another catalyst for delivering Value+ and this campus reflects the innovative spirit that has created our past successes and drives us to new heights in the future. It is certainly fitting that our new address is 10000 Energy Drive. Our new work environment was designed to harness the energy of our people and to energize the community around us. The campus offers more opportunities for and encourages each of us to develop new ways to energize our creativity. The Market, the wellness center, the nature trails, the many meeting places and each work space were designed to help go beyond what we are today to what we can become. This evolution won’t happen just by moving to a new building, but I am confident that we will quickly thrive in this new setting and enjoy the benefits of the amazing amenities and opportunities this campus provides. We are all on this road of change together, and we will continue moving forward in how we work individually and collectively and how we collaborate and innovate as a company. I look forward to working with you in our new headquarters campus as we continue to create Value+ for our shareholders, company, industry and communities.
Steve Mueller, President & CEO

Safety & Security Doing the Right Thing means keeping you safe.
There are many great things to learn about our new campus, but the most important of them all is safety and security. Your safety is our number one priority, and as such, we have enhanced security and safety features such as emergency evacuation routes and badge processes to help provide a safe work environment.
In Case of Emergency Make sure you know where to go and what to do in case of an emergency. To ensure all tenants have clear and safe access, remember to always keep pathways and stairwells free from obstruction and clutter. Know where your resources are: fire extinguishers are located near the stairs, elevators, break rooms, and common areas of every floor. AEDs are located near the restrooms. Fire pull stations are located near the stairs and elevators. First Aid Kits are located near the break rooms. There are two fire-rated staircases in each tower. Please do not use the elevator in case of an emergency.
Muster Points We have identified the following muster points for your safety. In the event of an emergency, please go to your assigned muster point, or ask the nearest Tenant Representative for further instruction: Tower 1 Floors

Employee Badges Badges must be worn in plain sight at all times by all employees, contractors, suppliers, and visitors. Anyone seen without a badge will be escorted to the Security Operations Center (SOC) for a replacement or temporary badge.
Lost or stolen badges should be reported immediately to the SOC at securityoperations@SWN.com. Employees and contractors will be able to complete a swnRequest to get a replacement badge should their badge be compromised.
Did you know? Our new visitor access badges are printed on thermal card stock, and turn pink when expired.

My Workspace The new campus offers more opportunities for movement and freedom from working in one place throughout the day. This new environment will enable most employees to work virtually anywhere on campus. Your new workspace now includes areas such as The Market, outdoor courtyards and terraces. Access to daylight and views was a driving force behind the design of the work floors. All enclosed offices, conference rooms, huddle rooms and the like have occupancy sensors for automatic shut-off of the overhead lighting when the room is vacant. Although plants can be a refreshing decor addition, please do not bring them into your workspace; they can cause issues with pests.
Workspace Set-Up Desks are designed to accommodate various work styles. The standard technology and equipment is outlined below, unless noted otherwise: Desk Features Height-adjustable desks provide varied settings to increase movement throughout the day. A slat wall system is provided in each workstation to help organize accessories off the work surface, saving desk space. Cisco Desk Phone Your telephone number has changed from (281)-618-XXXX to (832)-796-XXXX (796 spells out ‘SWN’). Your 4-digit extension will remain the same. You will find a new Cisco desk phone in your workspace with an enhanced user interface, compatibility with our higherspeed network, and improved speech connect with high-quality voice recognition dialing. We ask that you help us decrease the noise levels by maintaining a reasonable volume. When possible, avoid using speaker phone in open areas as it distracts your neighbors.
20 | Welcome Guide
Network Connection (Data Cable) For best performance, use the hardwired cable available in your workspace to access SWN’s internal network. You may also choose to use the wireless connection, which is available throughout the building (including conference rooms) as well as the Veranda, the rooftop terrace, and The Market patio. Please submit a swnRequest to change the setup of your current technology or to request additional equipment. For any additional information regarding technology, see the quick reference guides on the Houston Hub.
Wireless Network Each tower is outfitted with a wireless network (Internet) connection throughout the interior of the building. There are also several spaces outside that have WiFi access including: • The verandas • Rooftop terrace • The Market and Conference Center Patio
Printing Services We have centralized the printing services to decrease noise in surrounding areas and provide proper air ventilation for the equipment and storage for supplies. Printers are available on each floor in the work rooms. The new “Secure Anywhere” feature provides employees with an option for printing confidential or time-sensitive documents through a secure print queue. For more information, see the Printer Services quick reference guide on the Houston Hub.

Ergonomics To perform at your best, your workspace should be comfortable. Desks The height-adjustable desk enables users to change their working positions from seated to standing with the touch of a lever, operating without power. The desks are designed to accommodate various monitor configurations based on the employee’s individual requirements. A couple of tips to keep in mind when setting up your work area: • Please be cautious when moving your desk up or down to avoid pinched fingers • Keep your feet flat on the floor when sitting • Your wrists should remain straight while typing or using your mouse • Don’t over do it! If you are not used to standing frequently during the day, do so only in small increments at first
Monitors Adjustable monitor arms are integrated into each desk and can be moved to fit various working positions. The monitor arms also increase the clean working surface in your workspace. When adjusting the height of your monitor, remember that the top of your monitor should be 0” - 20” below the horizontal line of sight. Chairs The new office chair moves with you, so adjusting the settings is as easy as changing posture. The first chair designed to support our interactions with today’s technologies, it accommodates 30 distinct positions and has more than 45 patents to its name. When selecting your seat positions, please keep in mind that the area behind your knee should not be touching the seat. The arms adjust to any width or height to accommodate any user. Did you know? For a stronger connection at your desk, use the hardwired data cable, available in your workspace.

Stewardship As leaders providing energy to the world, it is our task to take a strong stance on sustainable behavior. Sustainability on Campus
Community Impact
The new SWN campus has submitted for a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold designation with the US Green Building Council. LEED is a thirdparty certification program and nationally accepted benchmark for the operation of high-performance, environmentally friendly (“Green”) buildings. The building will receive credits in various categories that range from water efficiency, energy and atmosphere and indoor environmental quality, to name a few.
Southwestern Energy takes pride in being a strong part of any community where we live and work – from grassroots programs led by employees to company-wide initiatives. We have already formed partnerships near our new home with Art Bridge, MD Anderson Children’s Art Project, South Montgomery County Food Bank, Spring High School, and so many more. We plan to provide opportunities to various community programs and share our campus with them.
The building’s CHP (compressed heat and power) generator uses natural gas to create energy for parts of the building. This is just one of the many ways that SWN has committed to be a good steward of the environment.
Individual Impact Please also do your part to be a good steward. Southwestern Energy will also provide support to encourage employee stewardship, which will fall on each individual in the building to uphold. We will be using single-stream recycling throughout the campus and will provide reusable dishes in the break rooms to reduce unnecessary waste. Other offerings include the van pool program and priority parking for high-efficiency vehicles. All employees are encouraged to not only take advantage of these opportunities to be a good steward, but to practice ways to reduce energy use and waste every day – like turning off the lights when a room is not in use, or recycling paper instead of throwing it away. Together, we will work to be good neighbors in our community and good stewards in our environment.
