Significant Changes With the New iPad

Everyone was so excited when Apple finally announced the news that the new iPad would be out within the year, as there were a lot of rumors surrounding its hardware specs. This was going to be the first product the company would launch after Steve Jobs’ death. There was a lot of pressure on the part of Tim Cook and the rest of the company, as this was the legacy that Steve Jobs left and there was no way they would want to ruin it. Everyone’s attention was directed towards the company to see if it could still live up to its name and reputation. The company is still producing and selling iPad 2s, which can still be considered relatively new in the market even though Apple has already launched the new iPad. They are selling the iPad 2 at a much lower price compared to the latest version. So what would make you sell your iPad 2 and upgrade or change to the new iPad? Of course, you would want to know if there are changes that make that much of a difference between the two that will make it worth getting the newer and more expensive version. Do the specs of the new iPad reign over the old one? These are just some of the questions that people are looking to answer before going out and buying an iPad nowadays. There are several differences between the new iPad and the old iPad 2. It is now called the old iPad even though it was launched just a little over a year ago because a new version is already available. One major difference is that the screen of the new iPad is much better than the old iPad. Apple used the Retina Display screen on the new iPad for the users to enjoy the screen’s higher resolution. It is now

four times better than the old iPad because it now boasts of 20148 x 1536 pixels. The pictures on the new iPad are clearer and have more vivid colors when placed side by side with the old iPad. According to Apple, the changes they made to the new model are enough reason for them to call it the new iPad. Another major change is that they used a different and more powerful processor for the CPU of this tablet PC. For the new iPad, you will notice that the tablet seems more responsive and is quicker to perform tasks. This is because of the 1GHz dual-core Apple A5X with 1 GB of memory. This gives the user the ability to multitask without fear of the machine hanging. It is able to respond quicker and without any hitches. It also has a newly installed 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, which is a huge leap from the former 0.7 megapixel, fixed focus camera of the iPad 2. At the end of the day, go and ask yourself what you will be doing with the iPad. If you will be using it for more than just a status symbol, then get the new iPad. With the new iPad’s features, it would be worth it to go and sell your iPad 2 and have it changed to the new iPad. Source: http://www.squidoo.com/significant-changes-with-the-new-ipad
