A lot of people are now anticipating the supposed launch of Apple’s new products on September 12. The invitations to the press have been distributed, with the number 12 and a casted shadow in the form of the number 5. Of course, the ever so slight hints are all Apple, and it seems everyone has given in to the hype. Leave it to Apple to know how to excite its legion of fans who are just too happy to devour everything the company presents. So, people are already preparing to exchange cash for iPads if the rumored iPad Mini will be launched at the same event. But wait, if you think that only a couple of products are set to be announced on September 12, think again. The company is said to announce six upgraded gadgets in one event. Apple may not be a participant in those international electronics fairs, but it sure does know how to whip up a ‘mega event’. So, what are the products that Apple is set to announce this time? Rumors abound on what products will be made known to the public on this date, although there is still no concrete proof of anything, save for that ‘5’ shadow on the invitiation. But if we are to believe the rumors, here are some eagerly anticipated Apple gadgets for launching on the 12th:
iPhone 5 Photos of the supposed unit for the newest member of the Apple family already leaked out weeks ahead of the supposed launch. It is said to be bigger than the iPhone 4S, which will have a 4-inch screen and a unibody design. It is also said that it will sport the new 9-pin dock connector, which will be the new proprietary dock for succeeding Apple devices. 21.5-inch iMac This new iMac still won’t have the Retina Display like the iPad, iPhone, and the Macbook Pro. However, the new iMac to be launched will allegedly sport a new look, aimed to be the main draw for this product. 13-inch Retina Macbook Pro The specs of this laptop are almost the same as that of the 15-inch Macbook Pro launched during the WWDC conference in June. The only difference is that this will have a smaller screen size, which should translate to a cheaper model. Initial reports have this device priced at only $1,199, $600 cheaper than its 15-inch counterpart. New iPod Touch This is supposed to be another new and improved model from its predecessor. Photos of the new model were leaked by GizChina, with the site claiming that it would be released at the September Apple event as well. It features a less tapered design and has a wider camera hole. This might indicate Apple already included a flash unit for this new model of the iPod Touch. In case the iPad Mini does not materialize, this gadget might be the one people who want a smaller device would sell iPad for.
