The basic concept for the collections within the PUMA Sport-Fashion range is to utilize the strengths and alternative perspectives of different designers/brands to emphasize the joint ambitions while maintaining the strong and distinct personality of each. PUMA has always been on the forefront of fashion collaborations and partnerships.In 1997, before any brands even knew about the concept of “collaborations,”
PUMA partnered with designer Xuly Bet. In 1998, Jil Sander and PUMA collaborated on a line of footwear. Puma’s Black Label is at the forefront of sports fashion thanks to collaborations with renowned designers such as Yasuhiro Mihara and Alexander McQueen. In 2014, Puma worked with a french brand, ironically named Brooklyn We Go Hard, to create a line of downtown cool sneakers and apparel.
