I loved the variety of fish we found in the antique prints, some of them almost look as though they’d struggle to swim! But the variety of patterning and shapes combines to make a really interesting paper.

If I could have made these shells even bigger, I would have done, but at this scale they work comfortably in an interior, whilst also having some drama. Added depth is achieved with the shadows in the background and the use of a grass cloth texture.

I had great fun drawing the beautiful seahorses that hide amongst the corals in this design. Although a quiet design, it looks very pretty on the wall and the multi colours and black and white colouring give it useability in more rooms than the bathroom.
