Goals For This Session

Following This Session
• There will be a general Q & A with administration. • There will be a self-guided tour of the campus. • You will be given a yellow emergency card to complete before returning on August 8th for Secondary Orientation. This is your “fast pass!”
What to expect on August 8th
• Orientation starts at 8am • Parents/guardians and students can pick up their schedules in the cafeteria with a completed yellow emergency card. • You can pay any school fees, purchase lockers, parking passes etc. • The campus will remain open until 3:00 pm. Students can locate classes, practice opening their locker, and tour the campus.

FAQ about CCMHS
How do I join activities?
• Club fair will be first two weeks of school - Information will be given out during the first week of school. • Try out for a sport. You can find out information on the website, or via social media!
What technology do we have?

Short-Throw Projectors in every classroom 10 laptop carts for classroom check-out Each teacher has an iPad & laptop 4 iPad carts for classroom check-out A Copy machine in the Media for student use
Who are the pack leaders?
• Students in 11th grade that are assigned to core 9th grade classes to help 9th graders. • Students in 8th grade that are assigned to core 6th grade classes to help 6th graders. • These students were trained in leadership skills. • These students will continue with training throughout the year and will be available to support students everyday.
What is the CCMHS Dress Code?
• Clothing that is offensive may not be worn. • All shorts and skirts must be no shorter than 6 inches above the knee. • Leggings are permitted • Pants will be worn securely so that abdominal skin or undergarments are not exposed. • Shirts and tops must “cup” over the shoulder for both boys and girls. Cold shoulder shirts are permitted. • Hats are not permitted on campus (will allow on spirit days) • Students in violation of the dress code will be required to change into appropriate clothing before returning to class. What are the expectations for stairs?
- All Coyotes are courteous. Please always stay to the right on the stairways, whether going up or down. - When on the stairs, you should always keep moving. Stopping & hanging out will not be permitted on the stairs.
- Throwing anything off of the stair wells or from the top of the stairs is prohibited. - Jumping from the stair wells or from the top of the stairs is prohibited. - Sliding down the rails of the stairs is prohibited.

What happens when I am not following
#thecoyoteway? • Every classroom teacher will use the same school-wide PBIS plan, with 3 steps of in-class interventions prior to contacting an administrator. • These 3 interventions will include a phone call home to a parent/guardian.
