OUR MISSION Safety: Our top priority is safety! This program is designed to teach your child swimming skills and safety in the water. Competitive: While teaching safety skills, we will also have a competitive track. This is where we work with the swimmers in the high levels to help us compete on our swim teamThe Elk Grove Stingrays!
OUR GOAL • A relationship exists between instructor, behaviors and student performance. •Studentslearnindi-•erentwaysandhave di-•erentreadinesslevels. • The focus should be on ability, not disability: achievement, not errors.
• Multiple methods of instruction, including “learnbydoing”resultsinhigherlevels of student performance. •E-•ectiveinstructionalmethodscan be learned and developed.

One Time Private Lessons
One time private lessons are here to help swimmers get that one on one attention from an instructor. This is a non committed way to work on skills to help progress throughout levels. One time privates haveamoreflexibleschedulethatwilllettheswimmerspic instructor of their choice. This lesson will be based on what the swimmers’ needs are and what skills they are looking to master. A good way to use a one time private lesson is when your swimmer is one skill away from moving up to the next level, instead of retaking the same level, use a one time private lesson to master the skill the swimmer needs. Once that skill is mastered in the private lesson the instructor will pass the swimmer onto the next level.
