General Information
What’s the Buzz...
A man was driving down the road with a carload of monkeys. A police officer pulled the man over. The police officer asked the man what he was doing with those monkeys. The man said he didn’t know. The police officer said, take those monkeys to the zoo. The next day the police officer saw the man with the carload of monkeys. The officer stopped the man and said, ”I told you to take those monkeys to the zoo!” The man said he did take them to the zoo and they had so much fun they were going to the beach.
The Sheila Ray Adult Center won’t be going to the beach or the zoo but we do have a lot of the great trips planned. In April, we will be going to Drury Lane to see Guys and Dolls. In May, a gambling trip to Potawatomi Casino and a visit to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. In June, we will be traveling to Lake Geneva to experience the Lake Geneva Safari.
We also have some new activities at the Sheila Ray Adult Center. In May, we will be offering a flower arrangement class led by one of our talented craft members. We are also excited to introduce a new fitness class called Ageless Grace. We invite you to try a free class on April 2! In April, our luncheon will be Swinging into Spring followed by our Run for the Roses Derby Luncheon in May and a Hawaiian Luau Party in June.
We have been busy at the Sheila Ray Adult Center. In January, we hosted a casino luncheon. I hope everyone was lucky. In February, we had our Love is in the Air luncheon. And in March, we celebrated with our Lucky luncheon.
It has been wonderful to be with warm, friendly people during the cold winter months. Be sure to check out the upcoming trips and luncheons. If you see a new face, say hello!
