Parent/Child Movement Exploration

This class is for 1 parent and 1 child 18 months up to the age of 2 years. Music, movement, and basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly, and positive manner. This class includes mom, dad, or another loved one participating in the class along with your little dancer. Our instructor will keep the music and curriculum moving along while parents take an active role in encouraging, supporting, and keeping your little dancer on track! Attire: Comfortable, form-fitting clothes you can move in. Only the child needs to register for this class (a caregiver needs to attend with child).

Dabble in Dance

Designed to introduce students to a variety of dance styles in just a few short weeks, your child will have the opportunity to explore basic concepts in ballet, creative movement, jazz, and hip hop! Attire: Comfortable, form fitting clothes you can move in and ballet or jazz shoes.

At the Pavilion Dance Centre we believe dance is for everybody and every body! It is for every age, all abilities and every background. Whether it is your first or tenth year dancing with us, we are committed to having fun, making dance friends, and building confidence in our dancer’s movement abilities. Come dance with us! The 11-week session of winter non-recital dance classes begins the week of January 9 and runs through March 25. Enjoy viewing your dancer’s weekly progress just outside of our studios, where classes are live streamed on TV monitors!

Leaps and Bounds

Is your child ready to take a “leap” and join a dance class without a parent for the first time? This class is designed to introduce your leaps and bounds to dance through music, creative movement, and the fundamentals of dance! Attire: Comfortable, form-fitting clothes you can move in.

Ballet/Jazz

This beginner level class combines two forms of foundational dance techniques into one! Dancers will concentrate on learning the funky and “fun”damentals of jazz along with the basic elements of ballet, which are crucial to success in any dance technique! Attire: Leotard, jazz pants or shorts, pink ballet shoes, and black jazz shoes.

Our Ballet Light and Easy class will help you slide into ballet and stretching with little impact and lots of fun!
