Pot o’ Gold Mason Jar

This bright and cheerful DIY is sure to have you feeling lucky this St Patrick’s Day! With a few simple supplies and some yummy sweet treats, you can turn a basic mason jar into a festive and fun St. Patrick’s Day surprise for a teacher, neighbor or for your kids! Follow these simple steps to create your own pot of gold, complete with a rainbow!

Supplies:

-Mason Jar

-Rainbow colored candies (sorted by color)

-Gold Chocolate Coins

-Marshmallows

-Mason jar lid printable (free on our blog)

1.) Grab a small handful of gold chocolate coins and place them in the bottom of your mason jar.

2.) Add your red candies into your jar, on top of your gold chocolate coins, forming your second layer of sweets.

3.) Add your orange candies, forming your third layer of your rainbow.

4.) Once you have added each layer of your rainbow candies, add your marshmallows filling the remainder of the space in the jar to the brim.

Now you have your very own pot of gold, complete with a cheerful rainbow! Enjoy spreading the luck of the Irish with this sweet treat!

5.) We added a fun printable “Lucky” mason jar topper to our mason jar lid, adding just the right touch!
