WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS AND BECOME A FEMALE FOUNDER?
As a little brown Latina girl facing a new country, a new language, and a new culture (and a very macho-dominated environment), I was no stranger to feeling the abuse and the oppression that brings. I knew I had to work hard for what I wanted to accomplish and become. I was motivated to channel that negative energy into driving myself forward.
WHAT UNIQUE PROBLEM DOES YOUR BUSINESS SOLVE, AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO ADDRESS IT?
My mother started this business 20 years ago, and when she was ready to retire, she offered it to me. I started training with her and noticed that her clientele was career-driven men and women with families who didn’t want to come home after a long day at the office and still had to put a load of laundry to wash. This extra step quickly became our signature service. My motivation is knowing we are bringing peace of mind to each one of our clients by providing a clean and organized home!
WHAT SETS YOUR BRAND APART FROM COMPETITORS IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
Organized Homes by Sinti is a cleaning and organizing company. We strongly believe both areas go hand in hand. You can have a clean but very untidy home, and vice versa. We are your one-stop shop for having a clean and organized home! I strive to be a very trustworthy, hardworking, responsible, and kind person. Having a business where I get to be in people’s personal spaces is very important to me and everyone on my team. We aspire to bring you the feeling most of our clients have experienced. We are ready to take on Dallas and learn as we grow.
CAN YOU SHARE A MEMORABLE MOMENT OR EXPERIENCE THAT SOLIDIFIED YOUR DECISION TO PURSUE ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
One day, sitting in my cubicle at my 8-5 job, I realized I was helping my boss realize his dream. I didn’t want to wait 20 years to realize my dream. I decided to give my two-week notice and took some time to plan out my business plan, and Organized Homes by Sinti was born. I woke up one restless night and decided I wanted to teach people how to live a more organized and clean lifestyle. I thought I was inventing something here. Little did I know there was a whole community already doing this, and I have been able to form incredible friendships with amazing organizers and businesswomen I’ve met throughout my journey.
HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS FOR YOUR BUSINESS, AND WHAT MILESTONES HAVE YOU ACHIEVED SO FAR?
Success is never a straight line; there are a lot of curves and ups and downs. We have learned to overcome obstacles, learn from them, and keep improving. Creating a healthy business relationship with our clients is definitely a huge win for us. For us, taking something that is usually not a luxury career and transforming it into a six-figure business has been our most significant milestone.
IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU COLLABORATE OR CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES?
I love supporting other businesses. I’m a firm believer in having enough for everyone to succeed! I have had the opportunity to collaborate with other organizers and entrepreneurs on different projects. We can all learn from each others. I want to show Latinas how you can make something great out of nothing and how to strive against adversity. Despite being your stereotypical Latina with a cleaning company, I could still grow my business into a six-figure business.

You may catch her mountain biking or hiking–she enjoys being outdoors. When life is moving fast and she needs to slow down, you can find Sinti volunteering, practicing calligraphy, or curling up with a good book.
