WITH a voice clear and sharp like cut glass that glitters hauntingly, Lisa Knapp is the folk world’s absolute darling. The South-London born songstress and disgustingly talented multi-instrumentalist is currently up for three awards at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2013 – namely best folk singer, best album and best non-traditional track – with the winners set to be announced in February. Plus she’s stunning ((not jjust anyone can make using a seashell as a telephone look cool), and her husband, Gerry Diver is quite a catch too – he’s accompanying her on the fiddle on tour. All this and she actually came quite late to folk after a wonderfully misspent youth clattering about at raves and leaping about to hip hop. But
