It's time to PARRRR-TAY! Thanks so much for the opportunity to share my services with you! My name is LaShayla Simpson, and I am the Owner and Chief Event Strategist behind Elle's Dream Events. Elle’s Dream Events is a planning firm that curates immersive, high-quality events through creativity, innovation, an affinity for detail, and a collaborative planning approach. We specialize in logistics, coordination, and guest engagement for weddings, corporate, and social events. It is important that each of our clients receives a signature service experience. After all, it's more than just an event; it's a celebration!
The average event can take at least two 40 hour work weeks STRAIGHT to plan. (#Truth) You're above average. (#DoubleTruth) So think about the length of time it would take to craft yours. "Why were they pleased," you ask?
Liz, Percy, and I collaborated as a team on her graduation party and worked together closely from start to finish. Planning commenced in January, and the party took place in May. As a non-traditional college student, Liz completing her Masters at the University of North Carolina Pembroke was a BIG DEAL! Not only was it a huge accomplishment for Liz, it was also significant for her family, church community, and friends. Many in her life were impacted by her drive and determination to complete school, though she faced many challenges while doing so. In tribute, her sister and three close friends shared how she inspired them to return to school as adults also.
So, what was so special about the process?
Well, after we did some clarity work, Liz and Percy became super clear on what they wanted this event to be like. Gaining clarity is often the most difficult part of the process. Once they had that, they shared their vision and allowed me to run with it! On the day of the event, the only thing they had to do was get dressed, jump in the limo that we booked for their transportation, and shimmy into the party. I handled everything else on their behalf.
In addition to having clarity about the vision, the planning and execution of every event depend greatly upon the team of professionals chosen to bring it all to life. We’ve built excellent partnerships with reputable vendors and have found that this division of labor is a win-win for you. We’d love to be the bridge to the vendor team of your dreams (and be on the team, too!) We have documented success with planning, executing, and evaluating a variety of events from business workshops of 10 to events in higher education of 3,500+ guests at one time. We also have experience planning events throughout North Carolina and beyond. We’ll meet so we can get to know you on a personal level, help you gain clarity about your vision, talk through event goals, and set a realistic budget to execute it. Having a reliable professional on the ground as your eyes and ears is essential to the success of the day and to keeping your confidence intact. Consulting Services
Consultation-only services are available for things like budget creation/management, event timeline development, and vendor suggestions. Consultation services are billed at an hourly rate of $250.00.
