This issue is extra special because the people who have helped me grow as an entrepreneur are featured. Audria Richmond has been a shining example of what it looks like when you trust yourself and has encouraged me from day one to do the same. Aprille Franks has shown me what is possible when you DECIDE to create the life that you desire and serve your tribe first. And, Dave Anderson for his genius ideas, open-door policy, tough love, and for believing in me more than I believe in myself most days. IT'S A MOVEMENT! In case you haven't noticed, we are officially BWMB Black Women Mean Business. We are so proud of the movement, and it has taken its rightful place on the magazine's cover. Why the change? The magazine needed a name that fully embodies our purpose. From the boardroom to our living rooms, Black women are on a mission to change every negative narrative. We are creating jobs within our communities and building empires that will leave lasting legacies.
Before you turn the page, I want you to understand something.
