Pre-Listing Prep Before we list your home, we want to make sure it is prepped and ready to show and sell quickly. The condition and appearance of your home and how it shows in photos and virtual tours can significantly affect the selling price you will ultimately receive. Today’s consumers are tech-savvy and will judge your home on the first photos. Along with these steps we may also recommend home improvements like new flooring, remodeling, or landscaping to get the house 100% market ready so it is truly a turn-key home. We have a trusted network of contractors that we can call upon to help complete these projects.


FIRST impressions

IMPROVE CURB APPEAL Manicuring the exterior is just as important as the inside. Make sure the landscaping is well-groomed. Add flowers and other ornamental features to invite buyers into the home.

APPLY FRESH NEUTRAL PAINT We recommend a fresh coat of paint on the walls in a neutral color like light grey or a creamy white. These colors will appeal to a broader range of buyers.

3% upon sale. That’s it, simple. You can choose how much to offer the buyer’s agent. Our suggestion is 3% to the buyer agent.

How much does J+L charge?

What percentage of the time does J+L sell their own listings? NONE. J+L don’t represent buyers on their own listings. They only represent Y-O-U.

Is there an agent contract and if so can I cancel at any time? We do have an agreement. However, you can walk away and cancel your listing any time if our team is not meeting your expectations or you simply change your mind about selling your home.
