UNIVERSITY WORKS
House
This was my first architecture program at undergraduate school when I was a freshman. At the beginning I was strongly fascinated by Le Corbusier's The Villa Savoge and his five points of architecture. I used the points of architecture and some asia elements together. I retified this project this year. After been working 2 years, I put some more understanding in this project and change a little.
Asia elements-Lotus in column design.
Lotus is buddha's seat cushion. It helps one to associate with the Buddha. I decided to use this element to describe one's inner peace in every moment. Lotus columns can also save space. This columns can become invisible and at the same time, if you see it, you may 'Calm Down, Have a Deep Breath'.
The Door. Chinese Landscape usually have a long and narrow entrance to build an environment far out of the folk's society and to indulge in nature beauty. I design a gate that the height is oversize while the width is normal. So when people walk in, they will feel they are far away from the outside.
Interior walls To emphasize fluid space and the connections of people, I decide to lower the height of some walls in the house. For example, in the living room, the wall between living room and game room is 1600mm tall. And I also cancel several doors, change to a door hole. But I keep those doors of bedroom, I think bedrooms need closed spaces for a good sleep.
Stairs and Restroom Normally I assume restroom is the only space that need privacy. So I put a whole solid wall to define the restroom under stairs. The stairs is made by wood and steels. On the surface it is wood and steels is to support the whole weight.
Kitchen and game room In the kitchen, mum need cooking as well as watching her kids, so there is a long transparent opening between the kitchen and the game room.
Chaotic Rest
Here is the garden design at my undergraduate study at Oct 2010. At that time I read a book about the Japanese Rock Garden. So I put the elements into my design. There is little plants but a lot of sands and rocks with grasslands. In the center there is two big trees, and shrubs are designed to define the dege of the garden.

I think it is necessary for teach buildings to have a relative broader ground, because many students come out of the building in a very short time afterclass. Students also need place to get together to talk. So I design a broader view of this garden, but with different materials. The southeast and south of this terrain is under the normal road, so I put stairs in the south east, and use shrubs to edge other parts for safety.

COMPANY WORKS
Dongben Industrial
Current page above: 2-2 Section of B1 building,
This is a project when I worked at Zhonghe Company as an architecture assistant. I mainly draw sections, plans and elevations, but I didn't design the facade. My job is to induce a reasoning section that matches the landform, and draw detailed on each elevations and plans. I assume the sections is much more amazing and fascinating than other drawings.

Inner Voice
For me, I have a lot of inner words when going into a shopping mall, especially those high level commercial buildings. So I take pictures and write on my true feelings on the realities. I took pictures and edited in Photoshop at Dec 2014.

Woodpeckers Guitar A namecard design at June 2014. I was told to help one of my friends in advertising his guitar classroom- Woodpeckers Guitar. He wanted designed his namecard as simple and impressive. I discussed with him and this is the final result. Not mention the color, I am satisfied with the two-dimensional code and the backside. (DESIGN NOT INCLUDE THE LOGO)

Hing Hay
Current page photo: Rendering of Hing Hay
Many of my friends get married these years. So I attended to a lot of weddings. A Red Character Xi (Hay) catched my eyes because I saw this letter many times at different places. I decided to make a me-style character so that I can use my own design in my future wedding, if I had one though. Dec 2014.
This character Hay is divided into three parts in vertical and two parts horizontal. And I simplified those handwriting rules into readable lines. In each line there is a width change from the beginning to the end, and in the rectangle the cross line width broader than vertical lines'. Hing has a double copy when using in weddings, so I put a left part together with a right part.
