From its humble beginnings as a piece of idle dirt with only a past, Hera’s Haven has been transformed into a living, breathing haven of beauty with a future, a soul, and a heart. Its purpose is now to serve as the stage for a beautiful union and the story of the ring--the miracle circle--that binds two in foreverness, witnessed by others, and recorded in the book of promises one to another. A place where prayers are spoken, memories are born and not easily forgotten. Where family and friends join together in community to bless and shower with heartfelt wishes of happiness reaching the heavens. A place where those in attendance witness the transformation where once two is now one. That once idle piece of dirt, now touched by God’s hand, has become a sacred and special place of dedication and commitment. The start of the journey of love that has only new beginnings and no end.

Spectacular Valentine’s Day Giveaway Wedding

Hera’s Haven, an idyllic ranch wedding and event venue in Italy, Texas, is sponsoring an incredible wedding package for a deserving local couple from Ellis County, and 75 guests on Valentine’s Day, 2024! Ranch and venue owner Refel Rushing is an entrepreneur with a heart for his community and a deep desire to share the beauty of his rolling ranchland. The Hera’s Haven Valentine’s Day Giveaway Wedding is the latest of his charitable projects.

The newly constructed venue, which is nestled within 260 acres of Rushing’s working ranch, recently began accepting bookings starting in fall 2023. Hera’s Haven includes multiple event spaces: The Chapel, The

Arches, and The Hall. In addition, this fully outfitted wedding venue boasts a secluded Guatemalan-style “first look” wall, Bridal Suite, and Groom’s Lounge.

“It is truly my goal to share the heart and soul of this beautiful space,” said owner Rushing. “I’m looking for the couple who has had to overcome the biggest challenge, and I look forward to hearing many great stories.” Any bride or groom-to-be who is a resident of Ellis County is invited to enter no later than October 1, 2023.
