We are ellis.graphics. We are graphic designers. We want to help you get more business. When someone holds your business card in their hands, receives a letter from you, clicks on your website, looks at your ads, sees your van on the street - how do they perceive you? What message are you giving people by how you present yourself? Is it clean and professional or is it cheap & confused?
Graphic design is a visual language which we have been speaking for 20 years. We want to help you translate your vision of your product or service into a language that your customers will understand. We want to speak to them so softly & eloquently, that they will innately accept that you are the best & that they should buy from you. We want to get to know you & your business so that we can speak for you, through your branding. We should talk, & soon.

Everyday Miracles A small business which offered workshops for the elderly - specifically those in care homes, needed an identity. The idea was to convey a sense of magic and joy, like waving a magic wand. Of course, as the business has grown and developed, the need has arisen to update the identity to project a more corporate image. The company needs to appeal to owners, managers,
staff & residents. We are working with them on an ongoing basis, developing and adapting their branding & applications.

Fueling the future Fueling the future was an early project by Rob Hopkins of the Transition Network. He wanted an identity & applications for his first conference, held in Kinsale. The identity was a interpretation of Rob’s idea, featured an oil rig transforming into a tree. The poster featured a variety of ecological imagery, a lot of which featured his own project at The Hollies.

RTÉ - report Another project for RTÉ. This report, involved presenting a lot of statistical information in an interesting way. The flow charts in particular posed a challenge, with a lot of text information. The reader needed to be guided in the right direction & colour coding aided understanding.

Urubu - Identity Seth Newman, a musician with an plan to integrate his drumming skills into his therapeutic work, needed an identity. The initial brief was very open, so a variety of ideas were supplied, in order to visually educate the client & develop something which he felt portrayed his work. The project has since evolved into more of a dance therapy, but this identity suited his needs at that time.

Aflame - Identity & application Aflame was a weekend motivational course, designed to instill confidence & self-belief in people. One of the breakthrough experiences which formed part of the weekend, was a firewalk - hence the name & the imagery. An identity for a greetings card distributor. A good example of clean, graphic shapes, expressing the essence of the business. The identity was designed and then the project stalled, so we are left with a beautifully simple execution with no application samples.
Another example of an identity which did not reach it’s full potential, as the project stalled. It was a successful interpretation of the brief for an overseas development agency.
