ellisha rosli is a writer, creative consultant, and multimedia communicator from Malaysia. she graduated from the University of Washington-Seattle in 2018 with a B.A. in Communications. representation matters deeply to her as she aims to share powerful stories through her work and the conversations she holds with her surroundings. her obsession with gaining new experiences has led her into doing substantive work in fashion, journalism, food and beverage, non-profit, publishing, and e-commerce for companies like Alaska Airlines, The Daily UW, storyfrontier, COMMUNICATE and many more! find her at ellisharosli.com or @ellisharosli on Instagram.


about the contributors Inka Anastasia is a classic introvert who spends her 9-5 working in a bank. She appreciates her free time painting her thoughts on blank canvases.

Ayesha Saiful spent years searching for what feels right. With the initial intentions to pursue dentistry, she found herself with a degree in finance instead. At twenty-six, she trains new hires to provide one of the world's best credit cards customer service, but as soon as she's off the phone she puts on her apron to create a storm in the kitchen.

A couple of years ago, Sandeep Dhanoa swapped rocks, measurements and stroopwaffles for words and mamak sessions.

Khodi is a Malaysian singer and songwriter. Her pursuit in becoming a music artist stems from the humbling connections that she shares with her listeners through her songs. As an advocate for the local music scene, she hopes for the continuous support of local artists and bands despite these unprecedented times.


Bellina Rosli is an avid dreamer who finds joy in sharing her self-proclaimed talents with everyone around her. She gave up chasing likes on her Instagram @bybellina and gladly accepts real hugs and laughters from her little fans instead.

Kamila Solihin is an inquisitor at heart. She finds fulfilment from being a student of life and heavily invests in her personal growth. When she isn't helping companies innovate creative solutions at work, she serves her communities by empowering young girls with Project Girls 4 Girls and championing mental well-being through My Suara.

Fatiha Rashidi is a bibliophile.

Direkh is a writer, rapper, producer and entrepreneur based in Kuala Lumpur. His latest EP, Hati (2019) can be found on Spotify and SoundCloud, among other mainstream platforms.


Beyond the noise of her profession and other interests, Cheska Ridzuan is and always will be a storyteller. Who weaves stories to remind each other that we’re never alone, regardless of the circumstance.

Sharifah Hani Yasmin is a proud Malaysian with a passion for youth engagement and empowerment. She finds the written word powerful and comforting; a medium that evokes emotions and touches souls at the same time.

Irsaleena Suzaidee is a 17 year old student who enjoys spending her free time doing anything other than her homework. Although first impressions of her may not prove it, she is well known amongst her friends for her chaotic energy. She hopes to make the world a better place one illustration at a time.

Azim Yunus has a deep passion for travelling and photography documenting photos in Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Cuba, Colombia, India, Nepal and other foreign places. He also enjoys capturing those candid moments at events with friends and families while based in KL. Check out his work at @azimoyunuso on Instagram.


Aryl Rosli is a 28-year-old movie buff who does movie reviews on his Instagram, @areel.reviews. Aside from that, he has a strong love for hiking, rock climbing and just simply being in the outdoors.

Being a student of architecture, Amir Shiraz explores the notion of built spaces and the memories within them. He respects the landmarks in his life through the means of photography. To him, the identity of landmarks will always rely on the memory of those that surrounds them. And in this case, the life in which he surrounds himself.

Ravin Shunmurugam is a nightlife and portrait photographer born and raised in Kuala Lumpur. He believes in taking photos purely for the luxury of being able to collect moments in time.

Sara Kok writes occasionally, makes a lot of coffee, spends too much time figuring out life, and hopes to be a journalist for a long time.
