PSS SGS 250 Speed Grinder Self-Feeding is a compact device designed for fast and perfect cutting of fresh meat and other food products. By using PSS SGS 250, a coarse as well as very fine cutting can be provided and in both cases the result is an end product of superior quality and excellent consistency. The effective, profitable and high-quality production is assured in food industry operations by using this device. Fresh meat, prepared for processing, is fed into the PSS SGS hopper, which is equipped with so-called feeding wing. Its main

function resides in fast moving of processed material towards the cutting worm and subsequently to the cutting system itself. The end product of desired structure is obtained according to a chosen cutting set. The construction of the wing is designed by way that the slowly rotating wing ensures a steady and thorough material supply to the PSS SGS cutting section. The advantage of the wing is that it prevents the accumulation of large amounts of product in the hopper and increases the cutting capacity.

Control PSS SGS 250 is controlled easily and practically via PSS CCP, the central control panel, with the alternative of changing its position according to customer needs. The coloured touch screen is adequately large and transparent. It allows optional speed settings of the cutting worm as well as the feeding wing itself in order to achieve a required quality of end product.
Safety and manipulation PSS SGS 250 is standardly equipped with the cutting head safety cover, the maintenance safety switch, the accessories trolley and the rotary crane for eased manipulation. On account of safety issues during operating the device, its individual and moving parts are placed inside and also safely covered. PSS SGS 250 does not exceed the noise level of 80 dB, thus fulfilling all EU as well as U.S. standards.
Hygiene and sanitation PSS SGS 250 is manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304 and all external and internal surfaces, coming into contact with product, are polished. The hygienic design enables full compliance with the highest hygiene requirements for manipulation with the device. The rounded, non-overlapping edges, the polished surfaces and the perfect sealing ensure a fast and uncomplicated sanitation.
PSS BES PSS SGS 250 can additionally be equipped with PSS BES, bone elimination system, which ensures a perfect separation of cartilages, sinews and other hard particles from meat itself. The system guarantees a minimal loss of residual meat.
