路 ALPINITY 路 A CONTRAST TO URBANITY DEFINITION : ALPINITY is defined as a network of valleys around the region of Mt. Blanc. This valleys are interconnected in a cultural, physical, economical and social way to become a unique and wholistic mountain experience for tourists as well as for the people inhabiting the area.
OBJECTIVE: The objective of the Alpine Network is the descentralization of attractions in the Mt. Blanc region, with the finality to create a co-operative system between the valleys and their unique identity. With this strategy we aim to make the Mt. Blanc area more attractive for a wide variety of users, but avoiding the big concentrations of high tourism that could turn the local culture into commodities.
