Medium Shot Medium Shot • Interview shot: Head to waist of person. Apply same length to other objects.

To zoom or not to zoom To zoom or not to zoom

• Zoom in for detail, Zoom out for context. Tips for making the shot • In one shot/frame should not need to zoom as still shots are usually better, if you do should be done slowly. Control the zoom • For every zoom shot, take at least a 5 still shot as well. Download video and sound files into recognisable folder on desktop i.e “AVI video” Open CVSE12 click on VideoStudio editor Open CVSE12, click on VideoStudio Will come to edit screen click if not make sure on edit screen by clicking on tab on top of screen “ 2 Edit” Click on Load video tab which appear as a little folder Open “AVI video” folder and upload the videos Vid fil Video files will appear in the thumbnail feature. ill i th th b il f t To edit video drag and paste thumbnails from the thumbnail feature into the editable master video track feature. Cut tool: to slice the video file to what you will need for your sequence Click to the audio tab

Super Fun Video Task* Super Fun Video Task Make a 3 - 5 minute video clip about a story on the island. Can be of anything from turtles, to people, to make believe anything goes. It is not a serious task, have fun with it and try and use different angles and vary your shots.
