Under age 21: No pap smear is needed.

2. Under age 21-29: Begin with having a pap test every three years. 3. Under age 30-65: Appear for co-testing, including a pap smear every 3 years, and an HPV test every 5 years. 4. Above age 65: No pap smear is required, apart from if you have had negative results in the past.
