Under the title ‘Occitan Nights’, a few troubadour songs have been collected here. Those poet-musicians celebrated the beauty of women, praised the courage of men and evoked the parting of lovers at daybreak. The CÉLADON Ensemble offers us a poetic, inspired vision of these lovely melodies (proposed with their complete texts), and the accompaniment, with four instruments (fiddle or rabab, lute, recorders and percussion), provides a particularly elegant sound environment sublimated by the perfect acoustics of the church of Notre-Dame de Centeilles RIC 340
