ABOUT MYSELF Hi, I am Elvijs Josts, a 29 year old Construction Architect living in Horsens, Denmark. Originally I come from Latvia, but I decided to travel and receive my education outside my home country, I saw it as a better opportunity to gain experience, strengthen my English and learn new language. I can say that I am very satisfied with my choice of studies as I am very keen on learning and expanding my knowledge in Architecture and Construction. During my studies I have been working on several projects. I have had projects such as single story family house, two story family house, multi-purpose hall + office and cafeteria building, multi-story apartment building, renovation project for multi-story building and worked on hospital renovation project during my internship in C.F Møller, where I also worked quite a lot with creating and editing families in Revit. I have also participated in many workshops. During these projects I have learned how to work in groups of international people, working with Autodesk Revit and learned quite a lot practical knowledge. I also have a good theoretical knowledge of the subjects I have been covering during my education. I have been an active student throughout my whole study time. I have been a board member and vice-chairman for our Student council (DSR), I have been Coordination Group member for Tutor Society (TS organize introduction week for new students here at VIA University College, up to 1500 new students in summer semester), so I have very good organizational skills. Also, I am a co-founder of BIM Training Studio, where our organization gives free classes and workshops in Autodesk Revit (I was one of the lecturers giving these classes), Inventor and AutoCAD for our fellow students in VIA University College. We had direct contact with Autodesk Europe and VIA University administration, we also received some financial and other help from them. By working in this organization and teaching others I learned a lot and improved my own knowledge and skillset in not only Autodesk Revit but also communication, organization and teamwork. Now, and during my studies, I am working night shifts in a warehouse, as I like to be able to support myself and not live on benefits, aside from that I am continuously looking for a job, but so far, the biggest issue has been that I do not know Danish Language, I have some basic Danish knowledge. So I decided to try and search for some job opportunities outside of Denmark. So I hope I can find a job here and work on some exciting projects. By choosing me, you will be gaining a hardworking, driven and motivated employee. My attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills ensure that every project I work on is done accurately and to the highest possible standard. I am very comfortable working as a part of a team and make a great team player with my good verbal and communication skills as well as positive attitude. I believe, I could enrich your team with my international background, experience and perspective.

RECOMENDATION To whom it might concern Re: Elvijs Josts Elvijs Josts has been a construction architect intern at C.F. Møller Architects from 8th of February 2016 to 1st of July 2016. He has been working on various projects and covered the different project phases, from programming to detail design. Elvijs works with huge enthusiasm and responsibility. He was big asset to our teams at C.F. Møller and is a great team player. Elvijs ability to understand complex projects and designs, work fast and efficient in Revit, was highly valued on our New Hvidovre Hospital project. He was able to address and systematically solve difficult construction issues with our collaborators / sub consultants. Elvijs worked on our Hvidovre Hospital project - bedrooms, reception and waiting areas. C.F. Møller has several different projects on Hvidovre Hospital on which Elvijs assisted on several of these projects as constructing architect, detail designer and 3D modeler. Elvijs participated in client meetings and corresponded directly with our client. He covered different project phases. So I can only highly recommend Elvijs’s qualifications and skills to any architectural office. He will be a great asset to your team and project. Please feel free to contact us at C.F.
