DESIGN DESCRIPTION
The butterfly is an essential ecological indicator of a site. The last several decades have seen a decreasing number of butterflies in the cities. During this epidemic, we can observe a slight increase in their number and their kinds. This project envisages a butterfly habitat in the city park, wishing to create a place where visitors can re-interact with butterflies and experience the beauty of nature.
BACKGROUND
The world is suffering a severe economic backward; however, environmental improvement might be only good news. As people do not travel much, we have brisker air, cleaner water, and quieter cities. The best part of the epidemic might be it is the only chance to "reboot" our planet. It is a time to repair our relationship with wildness.

PEOPLE'S VIEW
We foresee Madrid will be an inclusive, environmentally beautiful urban garden where humans and creatures can coexist harmoniously.

Urban Environment Butterflies
Even though they are indicators of the ecological diversity of an area, butterflies' survival has been threatened in recent years, and the number of species has decreased accordingly. Advocating for a green world, we are responsible and obligated to understand their habits and survival environment and create an ideal place for them to return.
Institute & City Event & Public
BMS (the Butterfly Monitoring Scheme) is responsible for monitoring butterfly species using methods shared with all of Europe, mostly with transects.
Tools to support butterfly monitoring & analysis
· Select a total monitoring line about 0.5km3km.
The BMS aims to assess the abundance of butterfly populations and establish adequate conservation strategies.
· All butterflies observed need to be recorded (2.5m to the right of the observer, 2.5m to the left, 5m in front, and 5 m above the observer)

Cerro del Tio Pio, as a Butterfly Monitoring transect, is a suitable place to observe and record the number and species of butterflies.
We want to make this place our home. But now the pollution is increasing, and more humans appeared, do we need to immigrate to another site?
I often ride a bicycle along the pavement in Cerro del Tio Pio. The view is beautiful, and I can see more butterflies swirling on the park's southwest side with lots of plants.

Since 1990, volunteers including public in city have recorded more than 5 million butterfly count events. People have built museums and artificial habitats about protecting and learning about insects. More and more attention to butterflyfriendly management in urban areas.
OBSERVATION SURVEY RECORD OBSERVATION SURVEY
I chose the park behind my home for a butterfly observation at 3 pm, using the ButterflyCount app.
The weather is great today. I will go to monitor the butterflies.
· First, let me design a transet.
· Before I start counting, I will fill out the form as a record.
In the first observation, the butterfly appeared three times in the 5th, 7th, and 9th parts.
The two observation records found that there were fewer butterflies in the park in the summer afternoon. In the first 15 minutes, only three butterflies were observed, and in the second time, there were 9 butterflies in the shady and tree-rich area of the mountain.
· While I walk, write down every butterfly species per section.
· Take pictures of butterflies, but don’t record those that are not in range.

The project is located in the Cerro del To Pio Park in Madrid, Spain, also called the "Park of the Nine Mothers," where nine hillsides were built from the rubble of the demolished shantytowns. The park has diverse and vibrant flora and is classified as one of the most abundant areas in the "Madrid Butterfly Watch" program. As a Butterfly Monitoring transect, it is a suitable place to observe and record the number and species of butterflies.

DESIGN DESCRIPTION
With the rapid expansion of cities, the previous city-countryside balance is broken, and the relationship between human beings and nature is worsened. More and more farmlands are occupied, and food is not distributed equally.
Our project aims to create a new agricultural community mode in the city-countryside jointing areas, wishing to erase such clear boundaries.
AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH
Selecting six cities to research and test, we purposely screened some bigscaled cities along the river based on the river water’s volume.

In the past, cities relied on neighboring villages to ensure food supply. Today, cities are not only connected to the surrounding area but also to the whole world.
BACKGROUND——The community encourages a diverse city-countryside stratification. It is the gathering place of citizens, farmers, and workers. Their jobs, incomes, education levels, living styles, and requirements are entirely different. The community is with a complicated social structure. The dream of this community is to create a harmonious structure.

such complicated communities will not exist in a congested area. Instead, they scatter on the spots of the boundary. Every single community can achieve self-sufficiency and help the nearby locations. It can benefit other fields, like, like transportation, fishing, and gardening.
Acting as a city-countryside bridge, it will change the stereotyped impression that the citizens hold toward the farmers. Together they might live, farm, and think together. They must get used to each other’s habits, ideas, and concepts. We believe” The Citizens” can create a unique community culture in their ways.

Virtual home Control Center, virtual individual virtual world Single Work
DESIGN DESCRIPTION
This project aims to discuss the future existence of human beings in the context of virtual reality through the controlling center, virtual individualities, and the internet world. If so, humans do not solely rely on material lives. They are virtual individuals controlled by computers. What will be the requirement for the living environment and space?
Could these virtual individuals be accepted and recognized? Could we have collective beliefs and how to maintain this exquisite world?
BACKGROUND INTRODUCTION
Q:
Do you ever feel unsecured or
controlled?
Q: If you feel you are being watched, what might be the sources?
A: Yes. During this Covid time, when we enter any buildings, we need to scan the environment code. My itinerary is entirely transparent.
Q: Does it have any negative impact on your lie?
A: Many online Apps display the products I am interested in. They know my preferences and my incoming levels, but I am constantly driven to buy things that I do like that much.
Q: How old are you? Do you feel any pressure of being watched at home?
A: I am 15 years old. I feel my mother is controlling me. She limits my screen time. She even asked me what I talked about with my friends on the phone. It makes me quite uneasy.
CONCLUSION
Virtual reality is a magical window to another world, or the real reality disappears suddenly behind the screen, and the continuum of "real and virtual" becomes a new interface of cognition.

BRAIN IN A VAT
1. If reality is the experience, those wired brains (immersed in that vats) go through
2. Sometimes our senses blind us: darkness or illusions caused by drugs. But we cannot realize that blindness. We take the fake as the truth.
3. In this internet-controlled world. We rely on keywords, search engines, and entries to explore the world. But if that information is wrong, will our world be false?
——an experiment that the Philosopher, Hilary Putnam, proposed in his book, Reason, Truth, and History.
Self-rumination will result in self-degradation and criticism, affecting emotions and resulting in a disorder. The pressure we have as being dominated by electronic devices is because of this.
This project wants to discuss the future existence of human beings in the fusion of virtual and real through control centers, virtual individuals, and the online.

We reconstructed the old Shanghai Residency; in China, it is called Lilong. Our design purpose is to transform a three-storied Lilong into a neat operation community for people who intend to design and provide its relevant service. In this pandemic period, we aim to uplift Lilong spirit; we emphasize users, connection, community, and continuity.
(The lilong is an attractive, versatile, and socially vibrant house type that developed in Shanghai in the 19th century. It came to be seen as such a feature of the city that it is almost as much of an icon as the Bund itself.)
This Lilong is a typical red brick and red tile, three-story, brick and wood building. It is located in Lane 132, Shanying Road, Hongkou District, Shanghai. Shanying road is now a famous romantic, artistic, and modern site that many vloggers would love to take photos of. We hope to reveal the new spirit of an ancient building in this context.

DESIGN STRATEGY
Combine the product display space with the child-fun space. A single-space story is created so that visitors can memorize the clear storylines. Designed from children’s perspective so that they can explore, leaving enough time for parents to pick up the electronic products. The first floor is the exhibition and sales territory; parents, and kids can shop together, while the channel and arch space are entirely reserved for kids to have fun.
