Battery-powered Lawnmowers

The transition to battery power offers significant benefits even for lawnmowers, including results that rival classic petrol engine machines. With these machines (of which LRi 44 and LRi 48 are also available in a self-propelled version), mowing duties benefit from ease of use, reduced noise levels and the complete elimination of exhaust gas. Forget about having to empty the fuel tank to prepare for winter storage, replace the spark plug, clean the air filter, or worry about stored fuel-oil mixture deteriorating: all this is no more than a distant memory with battery-powered motors, without any compromise in performance. The LRi 44 and LRi 48 are both equipped with a double battery housing, making it possible to extend running time with up to two 5 Ah batteries, sufficient for mowing larger areas. Both machines feature a steel deck, centralised cutting height adjustment controls, generously sized grass catcher and, for LRi 48 models, a 4-in-1 cutting function, allowing for cutting without grass collection, with mulching system or side discharge. Model LRi 40 P is suitable for small gardens thanks to its compact plastic deck and maneuverability.

(*) Cutting performance depends on several factors including: garden shape, surface characteristics (length, grass moisture), ground speed, type of cut (collection, mulching or side discharge)
