Davi Lemos is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is almost completing his Erasmus Mundus Master in Global Markets, Local Creativities which he writes his thesis on LGBTQ+ urban geography in the city of Rio, in an attempt to map and define what a queer urban space looks like in this territory.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a double minor in Entrepreneurship and International Business from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
During his time in Europe, he had the opportunity to work at a consultancy project with PEMB (Pla Estratègic Metropolità de Barcelona) for the creation of a new urban lab in the city of Barcelona.
More recently, he also worked at LCIR (London Centre for Interdisciplinary Research), helping the Communications and Events team to organise the institution’s conferences and seminars.
His main research interests are: queer studies, cities and Latin America.
