WOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION
Politecnico di Milano
With the collaboration of Laboratorio Allestimenti PoliMi, on the occasion of the newborn Wood Design course , we worked to show what we have produced during the course, studying the graphics, the exhibition spaces and set up. The purpouse was to let people see and admire the objects crafted by the students and the magnificence of such a beautiful material like the wood.

DESIGN X DESIGNERS EXHIBIT
Politecnico di Milano
Design for Designers is an exhibition, set up inside the Politecnico di Milano faculty, of students only design projects, from architecture to web design. Since I started to work as an internship in the Laboratorio allestimenti Paolo Padova, it was the first time I took part in setting up the exhibition, caring about the graphics, wayfinding, selection and set up of the students projects.

PINTOR
Politecnico di Milano
One of my first product/wood design project, this chopping board was created from the very start, from a single piece of solid wood to the final result. Pintor resemble the will of making art out of a simple piece of beech. This chopping board is studied as multifunctional: it isn’t just an object for the kitchen, but can be used also for fine food presentation in dining occasions.

BRICCOLE IN TAVOLA
Politecnico di Milano
A collection of everyday object made out from an autenthic example of natural art. “Briccole” is the italian name for the mooring woods of Venice, which are ruined on a certain elapse of time by natural factors. Our aim was to get this waste a new life, “bringing” the city of Venice, its charachteristics and its beauty, on a dining table with its magnificent nature-made design.

Dal Tavolo alla Tavola
From Table to dining Table Salone del Mobile.Milano
14-19 aprile 2015
BRICCOLE IN TAVOLA The Lombardy Regional government supports the Design Competition in partnership with the Italian Industrial Design Association (ADI) and FederlegnoArredo in an effort to offer young designers visibility and the opportunity to enter the job market. This has led to the development of 37 prototypes by 32 local manufacturers based on concepts thought up by young designers. The theme for the competition – “From Table to dining Table” – was inspired by Expo Milan 2015 and its focus on food and sustainability. The entries were judged by a panel of experts based on criteria including the functional and aesthetic characteristics of the design, the use of innovative materials and cutting edge manufacturing technology, and the environmental sustainability. After the selection and the development of the project with FILOFIORI SRL, Briccole in tavola was exposed at Salone del Mobile, during the design week.

Politecnico di Milano
Solid Wood Modular Furniture aim was to study a new concept of home furnishing using woods coming from european national park. Our idea was to give a set of table and chairs which can fit every type of living, form small family to great ones. No mechanism, just some simple movements and this set for 4 can transform itself into a 12 people dining table with a 2.4mt lenght.

INTERIOR DESIGN THESIS
Politecnico di Milano
A full year process of study, from the research on to the final work, on an increasingly more common thematic even in different target people - old, young students, ex prisoners - living alone. Design for solitary man was meant to work on a crumbling building in Niguarda, a zone of Milan, restoring it through the context of living in community by the metaphor of the “skin.

ADRIA II
UniversitĂ degli studi di Genova
A new refitting for a 1960s sailboat built by the most famous naval architect, Carlo Sciarrelli. The purpose was to keep the element of wood as the distinguishing one, but revisited in a modern and hi-tech way, such as the incorporated fiber optic lighting system. All the naval and structural elements are kept hidden in order to have clean spaces inside and outside the boat.

I GALEONI
UniversitĂ degli studi di Genova
A study of the history and science of naval architecture during the centuries. Thanks to a modular system my aim is to encourage the students of the university to continue creating ship models that can help future students and professors to study the history of navy and so give life to a new “museum inside the university, gathering attention and fame, giving to future students a better equipped and interesting university.

MANARA
UniversitĂ degli studi di Genova
An off course workshop which mixed naval design with interior design: a study on a three floor restaurant on the cruise ship Costa Magica. From the 9th deck to the 11th deck, the interiors evolve based on the famous pin-up character by Milo Manara, following three different concpets extracted from his comics: the landscape and the history, beauty as art and the provocation of eros.

Thanks to the collaboration with cantieri SANLORENZO, the meaning of this international workshop was to find new solution for the yachting world to let people with different handicaps enjoy the full experience of SANLORENZO yachting. With an innovative solution, our design fit perfectly in the boat project, seeming that was designed not just for less-able people, but for all.

Concept transformation of sea transport in La Spezia and the eastern riviera: a brand new way of moving by sea, for a future environmentally city, designing a boat that don’t look like a boat, as to impress the user with its simplicity. The shapes and the engineering behind the project, is also studied to navigate perfectly in high cliffs of La Spezia and the 5 Terre landscape.

Personal works
One of oure first self work. Drawn during the trip organized by our professor in India, the book want to catch everything we could observe during the whole day, from places to people. Now the project is expanded to the university where I stay and the work we do, from courses to workshops. Everytime I travel somewhere, I add new sketches to new moleskines.
