about the project
Hello, I'm Emanuel, I am product designer and craftsman, my father is Manuel and he is craftsman. we design and make beautiful, safe, high quality, Eco-friendly wooden toys in our studio in Aveiro, Portugal. Influenced by my parents who are craftsmen, since very young I expressed great interest in the manufacture of wooden toys. At age 12, I built my first wooden car - a Formula 1 car. In 2001, the birth of one of my nephews, was the inspiration to design and create my first rocking horse. Since then we have been developing some ideas, making a bridge between product design and crafts. All our toys have a distinctive design, developed to be safe, with environmental concerns. They are 100% handmade, using natural, organic and biodegradable materials, suitable for children.
