Media Underwritings Partnership (grants) Business or For Profit Organizations Thank you for your interest in becoming a Media Underwriting Partner. N. C.E. ( Non Commercial Educational) radio and TV stations are forbidden by the F. C. C. From airing commercial “ Spot announcements”, paid programming from businesses/individuals, or raising money for any purpose except the stations own expenses. N.C.E. stations however are allowed to: A. Air “enhanced underwriting announcements” acknow2ledging support from businesses or “for profit” organizations. B. Accept financial underwriting to programming by non-profit organizations such as churches, ministries, Civic clubs and associations. These programs must be aired “in the public interest” and not “because of financial considerations”. C. Solicit donations from individuals and families. These tax-deductable: and as required by IRS, mailed to all donors. Donations may be acknowledged by a brief announcement: (15) seconds or less; Permitted: (examples) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Prohibited: (examples) 1. Comparative or qualitative statements 2. Price information 3. “Calls to Action” or statements encouraging viewers or listeners to contact the Donor 4. Repetitive statements ( giving name/address/phone/website etc several times in one spot) 5. Four (4) 15 second promotional mention segments per each episode or broadcast 2. V.I.P. Seating at a monthly taping during our “ Power of Partnership Weekend Retreats” during term 3. Spotlight: We will do a “stand and greet” before our studio audience and future TV broadcast airing Term of Media Underwriting Partnerships opportunities on “ Will & Brenda TV”: 26 weeks: 1. Four (4) 30 second promotional mention segments per each episode or broadcast 2. V.I.P. Seating at a monthly taping during our “ Power of Partnership Weekend Retreats” during term 3. Spotlight: We will do a “stand and greet” before our studio audience and future TV broadcast airing 4. Vending: one 8x10 booth during our Pastors & Partners Conference October 16-19, 2013.

Churches, Ministries and Non-Profits are however allowed to underwrite programs by other bonafide churches, ministries or Non-Profit Organizations

Prohibited: (examples) A. More than three (3) minutes per broadcast requesting financial support per 30 minute broadcast B. N.C.E. stations are forbidden from interrupting scheduled programming nor is any programmer. C. Vantage Pointe Magazine is our monthly publication. Vantage Pointe will debut April 1, and will reach 18,500 people in our existing data base. This audience consists of Pastors; Businesses, Gospel Music Artist; Itinerate Ministers, Entrepreneurs and individuals. Prior to our new broadcast “Will & Brenda TV”, our primary audience consisted of Pastors, Ministry Business and future Leaders. Because of my background in media, marketing and ministry, we want to bring a fresh approach. Our viewers will appreciate the quality programming absent consistent pleas or manipulative statements to get people to give. With economic shifts, we want to allow Business and For Profit organizations a platform to share their product or service with our audience.
