Phil Gibson // PILOT, consultant A highly accomplished aviation professional with three decades of experience, Phil loves sharing his knowledge with up-and-coming corporate aviation professionals. He was instrumental in developing and implementing a number of courses focused on the financial aspects of aviation. During his distinguished career as a pilot, manager and business consultant, he amassed more than 17,800 flight hours and served in high-profile positions such as Director of Safety and Assistant Director of Operations at Pentastar Aviation, Chief Pilot at ACM Aviation, and Operations Auditor at Wyvern Consulting. He currently consults for Aviation Management Systems and serves on the Corporate Aviation Management Committee of the National Business Aviation Association. Phil holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

John Scribner // pilot, training manager As an adjunct instructor and developer, John Scribner shares thirty years of flight experience and extensive aviation business expertise with our students. He has served in a variety of positions, from Chief Pilot under a Part 135 air charter operation to his current role, Line Captain (Hawker 800XP and 900XP aircraft) and Training Coordinator for a large Florida corporation. Throughout his career, John has flown a wide range of turboprop and jet aircraft in a multitude of environments. And he is just as adept at teaching other aviation professionals how to soar. John graduated from Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach campus in 1982 with degrees in Aeronautical Science and Aviation Management.
