Travel Voucher Information FAQs for your customers

Usage

Guests can use a maximum of two vouchers per person per new cruise booked.

Full Value

Vouchers must be redeemed in full on one new booking.

Non-Refundable

Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

Combinability

This voucher is combinable with standard market & guest loyalty offers, excluding agent exclusive offers and friends and family rates. Please confirm combinability with our reservation team at the time of booking.

Transferability

Vouchers can be gifted to friends or family. Please ensure they have all your details, including the unique voucher code.

Lost Vouchers

Vouchers are attached to your guest profile and can still be applied to a new booking if lost.

New Bookings

Vouchers can only be applied to new bookings, not existing ones.

Currency

Vouchers are sold in Euro onboard our European river cruise ships and converted to local currency at the time of booking.

Applicability across Cruises

Vouchers can be applied to any new cruise with the Scenic Group, including Scenic Eclipse or Emerald Cruises yacht cruises. Vouchers are not applicable to land tours or chartered cruises sold by or on behalf of the Scenic Group.

Back-to-Back Cruises

You can purchase up to two vouchers per person, per sailing, even for back-to-back cruises.

Availability on Different Cruises

Vouchers are only available for purchase on European River Cruises with Scenic or Emerald Cruises. Bookings made onboard Scenic Eclipse or Emerald Cruises yachts are eligible for a 5% future cruise discount instead.

Combining Europe River and Ocean Discounts

1. If you have joined a River cruise after an Ocean cruise, you can combine the 5% Ocean booking discount with a river voucher on your new booking.

2. For existing bookings, vouchers cannot be combined with the 5% onboard Ocean booking discount.

Deposit Use

Vouchers are a discount applied to your booking and cannot replace the payment of a deposit.

Validity

Vouchers are valid for booking within three years of purchase.

Guest Application

Vouchers purchased by guests can be applied to their bookings when made on their behalf.

Commission

Commission is still applicable on the remaining balance, after the travel voucher discount has been applied.

Exclusive Rates

Vouchers cannot be used on significantly discounted agentexclusive rate bookings.

Voucher Limit for Group Bookings

A maximum of two vouchers per person, per new cruise may be applied, even for group bookings.

Cancellation/Amendment

If a booking with applied vouchers is cancelled, the voucher will be re-applied to the guest’s profile for future use. For amendments, the voucher will continue to apply to the rebooked cruise.

Suspended/Cancelled Bookings

If Scenic suspends or cancels a booking, the voucher will return to the guest’s profile under the original terms and validity.

Group Allotment

Vouchers can be used toward group allotment bookings.

Charter Exclusion

Vouchers are not applicable for chartered sailings.
