Our journey begins at the ancient city-kingdom of Kourion which Archaeological Park boasts an impressive collection of historical finds. 3km west of the ancient city-kingdom of Kourion is our next stop Apollo Hylates Sanctuary. Apollon Hylates, God of the Woodland, was the protector of Kourion. His sanctuary was an important religious centre and underwent many extensions and alterations in different periods.
