From its French colonial architecture to its generation-defining role in the infamous Vietnam War, Ho Chi Minh may well be the most noteworthy city in this exotic corner of Asia. Siem Reap

Halong Bay

Phnom Penh

Cambodia’s bustling capital can be found at the confluence of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers, a picturesque city built around the Royal Palace, the residence of the King of Cambodia. It is here you will find the Silver Pagoda, known as the ‘Temple of the Emerald Buddha’, which lies adjacent to the Royal Palace, has a floor covered in silver. Now a peaceful place, Choeung Ek is best-known as the site of the Killing Fields and a must-see whilst in the city. During a visit to the Oudong Temples receive a traditional Buddhist blessing from the resident monks.
