This vast, life-supporting waterway is one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet. Beginning life in the Himalayas, countless tributaries break off and wind between Cambodia and Ho Chi Minh City to form the enchanting Mekong Delta. Here, the Mekong River flows through Cambodia and Southern Vietnam, where it is known locally as the Nine Dragons Delta, eventually emptying into the South China Sea.
