2. Toyota Logistics
(ALIAS+Keyshot) Power and Friendliness are key drivers for this design as they are simple easy and to understand. If put together, the two attributes generate trust, a highly regarded working principle of Toyota Motors. The elephant is widely regarded as a powerful and friendly creature which has been helping human kind with its physical power for many centuries. This vehicle Powerful takes its inspiration from it and celebrates & its importance in the world. Friendly Throughout the automotive industry, from where Toyota has drawn inspiration for its material handling operations, the aesthetic identifiers of power have been large diameter wheels, prominent wheel arches with imposing shoulders and small DLO’s. The powerful and friendly Toyota tow tractor inherits from the automotive design the widened wheel arches but also keeps them in a trapezoidal shape to retain the utilitarian aesthetic.
The jovial expression of the fascia relates the design to the friendly looking A-segment cars i.e. Ford KA, Fiat 500, but the styling of the whole vehicle celebrates the joy of using such a piece of equipment. Rounded corners, tapered edges high visibility features add to the usability of the design. Deriving the design language of power in the motoring industry, the proposed tow tractor uses hexagonally shaped LED’s for its rear combination lights. The use of the honeycomb construction conveys the feeling of a highly resistant structure.

The concept uses the technical platform of the Toyota 2TD25
Mirror system to visualise the pin mechanism when reversing to reduce strain on the back and neck, inspired by periscopes.
The seats feature a metal frame with a tensioned mesh structure for breathability, heated/cooled cup holders for the operator, button operated automatic transmission. The vehicle features a removable roof with a shade and a rear lip incorporating a mirror to visualise the towing pin. Amber beacons are placed on all four corners of the roof. Centrally positioned, the dials face the operator for improved visibility while manoeuvring. For safety, the vehicle features a fire extinguisher in the central console and textured floor surface to maintain grip even if it is wet. The tapering dashboard provides improved access to the cabin and features vertical ventilation outlets to avoid eye discomfort and improving the safety of the user. Regarding the core values of the brand, simplicity is the one that Safety ties them all in. This is also valid because a simple construction is easy to use hence usability and driveability. This characteristic also Simplicity make the system easy to maintain Durability and operate resulting in productivity as less training is Productivity required and also safety because it is easier to get familiar with the workings of the system.

Briefcase for traveling holds the documents for cigar tasting events.
