LEAVE A LEGACY The aM Society honors those who have chosen to commit to the future of the Albuquerque Museum by including the Albuquerque Museum Foundation in their estate plans. Giving from generation to generation is one of the most meaningful and significant ways people can leave a lasting legacy.

It is important to list the Albuquerque Museum Foundation in your will and not the Albuquerque Museum so that your gift may be properly managed and acknowledged, and your wishes honored. MEMBERSHIP DUES REFLECT RISING COSTS The Albuquerque Museum Foundation is a member organization with 2,400 member households at all levels of participation. Your annual membership provides wonderful benefits such as this magazine and calendar; unlimited free access to the Museum and Casa San Ysidro all year; invitations to exhibition opening receptions; and a ten percent discount in the Museum Store.

Your membership also provides vital, unrestricted Foundation support. The Foundation turns those gifts into education programs for children and families, docent education, third Thursdays programs, traveling and permanent exhibition support, staff development and salaries, and communications and public relations efforts for the Museum and Casa San Ysidro.

The Foundation and Museum have been experiencing major cost increases in many operations and programming areas. To maintain the programs and services for our members, we now find it necessary to raise the cost of two of our membership levels. There has only been one other small increase between 1999 and 2019. Beginning July 1, 2019, the Senior Member rate will be $50; previously it was $40. General Memberships will be $75; previously they were $60. Thank you for your important support each and every year.

Per current IRS policy, distributions made from donor-advised funds or family foundations may not be used to fulfill a pledge or Patrons’ Circle membership that would result in a personal benefit to a donor or a member of donor’s family (e.g. tickets to events, dinners, tables for events, etc.). Please call if you have additional questions or need clarification.
