Project Proposal Bringing an online retailers with a community of over 300 unique fashion boutiques to a city with the desire for the products. Farfetch will place its first brick and mortar roots in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, which in 2024 will demand for new and visionary products. The store will carry a very limited and highly curated product assortment selected from its over 300 retailers around the world. Carrying only two in each size of the product, the merchandise will be limited and will only be offered in-store for two weeks before returning to the boutique it came from. This will assure the customer the newest items as soon as they become available without having to purchase luxury items without being able to touch and try them on.


What is Farfetch? Farfetch is an online retailer that is composed of over 300 retailers worldwide. They carry no merchandise, but instead act as the middleman between boutiques and customers across the world. Farfetch focuses on discovering and offerning a variety of high-end unique and up-and-coming merchandise.

Atlanta’s Customer in 2024 In 2024, Atlanta will have become a mecca for the film and music industries. It will be inhabited by world-influencers in search of inspirational and unique items. There will be more events and more reasons to be dressed in the newest and best fashion items from around the world. Farfetch going offline and into Atlanta will give these consumers the products they desire in addition to the first-class in-store experience and service they deserve.



Farfetch Atlanta is for the unique, rule-breaking, and artistic customer. It aims to create an atmosphere and carry a collection of merchandise that push the bounds and combine art with fashion. Key words I considered when brainstorming Farfetch Atlanta: - pushes the limits - focus on the urban lifestyle - highly curated - art meets fashion in one location - fashion is the art - display it like so


Where in Atlanta will Farfetch go?

In Buckhead, Atlanta’s Buckhead Atlanta property! Although still growing its clientel, I believe that in the next 10 years, this shopping center will be where the celeberties and musicians go to find the best and newest products available in stores.

I wanted to treat the floor almost like a gallery space to display the clothing in. Since I will not be carrying a large amount of inventory, each garment will have room to be displayed and admired.The floorplan includes a sitting area, product displays, and builtin hanging space for the garments. All of the payments will take place on the smart glass table top at the checkout area which will require nothing more than the tabletop. There is also an interacive televison as the back of the store (also interactive glass) that tells where all of the garments currently in the store are from and can show images of the stores they were shipped to Atlanta from.


Storefront Visuals

The window displaye were inspired and created by the idea of all of the items in the store coming from around the world. I wanted to have a layered effect that somewhat symbolysized the idea of the products and even their origins overlapping lives that all have resulted in them being brought together in one store in Atlanta, Georgia. Although simple, I thought that the simplicity allowed for the clothing and other fashion items to remain the highlight as well as allow for those passing to see the rest of the store interior and the new merchandise well.


FARFETCH COMES TO ATLANTA How will we celebrate? Farfetch will host an opening party to launch their new and only store and to make their presence known.This will include a local yet well-known artist of the future, hors d’oeurvres, and a plethora of alcohol, including Farfetch’s own signature cocktail.

Who is invited? Farfetch will invite some of Atlanta’s top tastemakers, press, and some of their own already loyal customers. The PR and editorial staff from various magazines and online news sources will be invited to come and experience the event and see how Farfetch has transformed thier sucessful online business into a brick-and-mortar store.

How will people know? In additon to utilizing the publicity that will come from the launch party, we will be utilizing our own pre-existing social media outlets to spread the word of the Buckhead, Atlanta location.
