Workshops designed to empower senior citizens to manage their own finances through online banking.

Workshops throughout the year that teach life skills also partnered with young enterprise as business advisers.

A multiyear project aimed at developing the skills and opportunities within the Chinese community, empowering them to break out of the mould.

Results

Results

• One to one mentoring ensured a comfortable environment, • 9 members attended a term of sessions, • £300 backing by HSBC, • Long standing agreement with a school provided a free room, • All increased their knowledge, • U3A trainer keen to take over the project.

• 5 Schools worked with, • 50 hours of workshops, • Once a week worked with young enterprise advising them on their business following SIFE principles, • 1 Team made £600 and then invested it into another project

The Objective Working with 2 classes of year 10 students challenging them to work with a genuine company.

Project working with local designer Workshops designed to empower who is setting up a business making senior citizens to manage their own finances through online banking. product from recycled materials.

Results • 50 student taught business skills • Working with local Nottingham organic fragrance company lilac and cream. • Student produced a marketing strategy fro the company • Student learnt about all aspects of the business including how they can be environmentally friendly Testimonial ‘The children have presented me with some fantastic ideas which I will be taking on board within my business; I recommend other businesses should get involved.’

SIFE are encouraging her to outsource her materials. To Singapore where workers can collect rubbish and sell it back to Bag 2 Riches for their own profit. SIFE will be working between the business and group teaching them how both groups can make an ethical profit

Workers will be given the knowledge to start making a profit.
