POETICS OF MOVEMENT

POETICS OF MOVEMENT PART I

This was the first iteration of a semester-long project. The objective of this phase of the project was to design a building in section with the sole purpose of representing a song or a piece of poetry of our choosing. The design was based off the song “Motherboard” by Daft Punk.

POETICS OF MOVEMENT PART II

In the second phase of the Poetics of Movement project, students were asked to design a building for public use representing the same piece of poetry or music as the prior phase. The result was a center for dance and art, focused on accentuating the relationship between two, and creating an environment where dancers and artists can draw inspiration from each other.
